Problem: Random color pick in pie charts. I am showing different pie charts of the same listing in the budget and for the same categories I see different colors between graphs. When a category (depending the filter) has no value and is not shown in the pie, then the colors don't match between graphs. Solution: Preserve the colors for each "category" in the pie, so when we put a new pie chart referencing the "categories", i will see the same colors for each for a comparison. ... View more

When you add "where field is this or that", the field is automatically displayed in the chart/table, even if I don't explicit ask to "show". for example, show total dollarfield where category is something, it will automatically split the total by that category. Scenario. Import a data model into Power BI (say via excel file stored on onedrive). Setup a data refresh on it. Validate that it works. Now make a schema change in the data model (say add a new table). Save the file in the onedrive location. This now breaks the data refresh from the power Bi site.
