In the SharePoint version of PowerBI we had the capability to Open the folder that contains the Report (powerview) by pressing the button “Open with Explorer”. When this would open up, I’d have a folder open in my computer which would show me the Excel Powerpivot’s I uploaded and the .rdlx file which is the report(powerview) that reads the data from the excel. If I needed to copy the report I’d basically copy this .rdlx file, and paste it to to the new location (ctrl+c, ctrl+v), correct the connection if I have to and Powerview would work from new source file just as it did from the old one as long as all fields are in the new source file. I have not figured out how to do this on O365 version and would REALLY appreciate anyone who can point me there, if this is inexistent on later version, I’d highly recommend this as an Idea to be looked at. Please let me know your thoughts.
