The documentation online only shows using a Sql Authenticated login or Entra authenticated login. A much better approach would be to lean into the new managed identities to worry much less about credential rotation and management.

Hello - can we add a way for all reports, if we choose to, show the report page names across the bottom of the layout and not the left hand side? Each time I publish I need to go into the report setting and change it.

However, it lacks built-in feedback mechanisms to inform users whether the flow execution was successful or if it encountered an error. Requested Enhancements: Flow Execution Status Display: Show a visual indicator (e.g., success/failure icon or status text) within the Power BI report after a flow is triggered. Optionally allow custom messages based on flow outcomes. Error Message Handling: Capture and display error messages returned from Power Automate flows. Provide a configurable option to show detailed error messages or user-friendly summaries. Benefits: Improves transparency and trust in automated actions. Enhances troubleshooting and debugging capabilities. Enables better user experience and operational reliability in business-critical reports. Use Case Example: A user triggers a flow to update a record in Dataverse. If the flow fails due to a missing field or permission issue, the user currently receives no feedback. With this enhancement, the user would immediately see a failure message and could take corrective action.

I am trying to merge two queries in Power Query Editor window and the problem I am facing is that I have to scroll all the way to the column in individual queries that are being merged. Is there a feature similar to Go To column for the Merge Query window that pops up ? The only other option that I see is using the M code instead of the Power Query UI to do so (but then we need to remeber the column names and note them somewhere on a notepad) we are talking about more than 50 columns in each query. Any suggestions ?

For naming the Power BI workspaces it would be fine, when we can use special character (e.g. "#"). This is relevant for sorting the workspaces by name, so we can name frequently used workspace with an initial special charachter "#". In principle, it works fine to name this workspace, but afterwards there are an error with the pbi - project file to open the file, because the connection string in the definition file can not handle with special characters.

Når jeg legger inn endingskostnad oppdateres kontraktprisen, men ikke gjeldende budsjett. Burde vært omvendt. Resterende budsjett oppdateres ikke ved innleggelse av endingskostnad. Dette skal være gjeldende budsjett(Hvis denne oppdateres ved endringskostnad) minus Totalt påløpt. Dette fører til at disiplinledere lettere har kontroll over oppdragene sine, og hvor mange timer de har igjen etc. Under er eksempel på dette. Kontraktprisen har endret seg ved innleggelse av endringskotnad. Budsjettet har ikke endret seg. Resterende budsjett er 'Gjeldende budsjett' minus 'Totalt påløpt'. Dette blir da feil

Ao fazer a importação dos dados de qualquer plataforma que possua muitos dados o sistema fica ali parado carregando linha por linha impossibilitando que a gente possa ir adiantando outras etapas e criando outras metricas ou ajustando a propria informação já existente. A sugestão seria colocar este carregamento em segundo plano "um status" indicando o andamento do mesmo mas que deixe o usuario dar sequencia nos trabalhos no documento. Exemplo ocorre em importação de dados do Redshift por exemplo , mais de 3.000.000 de linhas. demora muito .

Hello, In the formatting settings for the Line chart, we have for the Y-Axis in Range pane: - Min, Max, Logarithmic scale, Invert Range - Shared y-axis - Scale to fit But for the range of the secondary y-axis we don't have the Shared y-axis and Scale to fit These settings can be very useful in case we are using small multiples and have different scales for the secondary y axis What do you think ?

Having the Auto Align feature is nice in the Pipeline editor. It would be even nicer if when I layout the Activities the way I want to see them, that the editor would remember that! I don't care for how Auto Align lays things out.
