Currently, in Power BI Desktop, conditional formatting has to be applied manually to each column or measure within a table or matrix visual. This becomes time-consuming when working with many columns or dynamic measures, as the same formatting rules (for example, color scales or data bars) often need to be repeated for every field. Currently, our PowerBI page table is filtered by other charts on the page. The table contains 140+ rows but many filters show only a handful of rows. I'm currently using IDownloadService.exportVisualsContent to download custom data from our custom visuals. While this works perfectly in Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop, I'm unable to get it working in Power BI Embedded. Despite enabling the relevant tenant settings for the entire organization, the export functionality still doesn't work in the embedded scenario. Upon reviewing the official documentation, I noticed that this limitation is already mentioned — the export feature is supported only in Power BI Service and Desktop. This restriction is a blocker for us, as it prevents downloading custom data directly from our embedded reports.   We request that Microsoft extend support for IDownloadService.exportVisualsContent to Power BI Embedded scenarios. Hi,   I would like to see the option to stick the Canvas Background image to the top. Usually, we create backgrounds for reports that already include specific elements, like the logo, slicer bar, menu bar, that kind of thing. However, there's no native support for "Drill Across" — a powerful feature in one of the well know BI enterprise tool that allows users to drill between unrelated attributes or columns, even if they aren’t part of the same hierarchy or table. Problem Statement: In many enterprise use cases, business users need to explore data laterally across unrelated dimensions. For example, from a "Product" summary, a user may want to drill into "Customer Region" or "Order Status" — attributes from entirely different domains or tables. This kind of exploration is not possible today in Power BI unless we create multiple drill-through pages with predefined relationships or use complex workarounds. Feature Request: Introduce native "Drill Across" capability that allows users to define custom drill maps or navigation paths between unrelated fields/tables — without relying on traditional hierarchy or model relationships. Similar to how MSTR allows: i)   Drill Up / Down (within a hierarchy) ii)  Drill Across (across unrelated columns/attributes) Benefits: 1. More flexible data exploration 2. Description Currently, Dataflow Gen2 in Power BI does not allow refresh operations on flows targeting a Warehouse unless the user performing the refresh is the owner of the dataflow. Even users with full workspace permissions (Admin/Member) and Fabric capacity rights cannot refresh unless ownership is transferred. This limitation creates operational challenges, especially in enterprise environments where multiple users manage refresh schedules. In contrast, when the destination is a Lakehouse, refresh works without requiring ownership transfer, which is the expected behavior. I think it would be nice to have locks at various heirarchies within Fabric to prevent accidental deletion for items that could be WORM (write once read many).  As a scenario, say you have an old system with historical data that you want to retire but still want the data for analytical use.  In this case you would write it to a Lakehouse, but you want to ensure that data is safe from as many risks as possible.  One of those being accidental deletion of a Lakehouse or files.   This way you can retire the old system to free up overhead, have the data available and not have a lot of concern about loosing it. ...
