Add Mouse Scroll Functionality to Adjust Date Range in Power BI Slicers Description: Currently, Power BI’s Between-type Date Slicer allows users to adjust the range only by manually dragging the slider handles or typing start and end dates. It would be highly useful and intuitive if users could use the mouse scroll wheel to dynamically adjust or slide the visible date range (for example, scrolling to move the range forward or backward in time). Proposed Functionality: Allow the mouse scroll wheel (with or without keyboard modifiers like Ctrl or Shift) to shift the selected date range in the slicer without changing its span. Optionally, provide smooth scrolling or step-based control (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly increments). Support for both horizontal and vertical slicer orientations. Maintain compatibility with synced slicers across report pages. Benefits: Significantly improves user interactivity and exploration of time-based data. Offers a more fluid and analytical experience for dashboards that depend on continuous date filtering (e.g., trend analysis, time-series visuals, forecasting). Reduces the need for manual range dragging or multiple clicks. Example Use Case: A sales analyst reviewing daily sales trends could simply scroll the mouse wheel to move the time window forward or backward — instantly updating all visuals linked to the slicer.
