Hi, I generally use the mirroring feature to get data from an on-premise supported source at bronze level of the medallion architecture. In order to perform some data transformations and put the related data in a next lakehouse or warehouse I could use a dataflow gen2 that doesn't allow to select a mirrored database as a source. Currently there is no way to fully pause an Activator rule that uses a KQL query as a source. Even when the rule is paused, the activator continues to run the KQL query against the Eventhouse.   The current workaround is to set the query frequency to the longest available option, which is once per day. However, this daily execution prevents the Eventhouse from becoming idle, which results in ongoing Eventhouse uptime charges.   Would it be possible to add a feature that allows an Activator to be completely paused, similar to how rules can be paused?   Thank you in advance. ... We have complex RLS and audiences in our PBI/Fabric Apps.  We need to be able to login as a user to view their experience.  There is no worse-way to get user adoption then to send a user to a dashboard just to find out there is something missing with their permissioning and they get an error or a blank screen.   Executive adoption of PBI will never get off the ground if we can't ensure a seamless experience. I am sure this is the case for most organizations.   Even better, I would be able to login as them to view their "home page" experience to pin favorites and ensure they are easily routed to the right reports.   ... In power query when you connect to a table in a dataflow there are no options to create or use a parameter for that dataflow. When connecting to SQL there is an option when setting up the connection to create a parameter but that doesn't exist for a dataflow. This means that it is a bit fidly requiring creation of a parameter seperately then amending the advanced editor M code.  Could we get an options cog on the navigation step that allows the easy creation of or reference to parameters for dataflows and workspaces.  These are essential as we are working with dataflows and deployment pipelines and often switch between dataflows for testing but setting them up n power query is arduous. ... When working with Matrix visual (and others as well) I can't rename it in Selection pane without same name being propagated as visual's Title (when the Title option is ON). Can we go away from that?   I want to use particular name convention for elements on the canvas so I have my Selection pane clean and tidy. When a user clicks Save in the Power Apps visual embedded in a Power BI report, the expectation is that the Power BI visuals refresh automatically to show updated data. However, this refresh is not happening, so the report still shows old data even after saving changes through Power Apps. The response we got from Engineering team is Users with viewer permissions cannot see updated data in visuals automatically after applying and saving filters on the PowerApp visual. They need to refresh the visuals page to view the refreshed data. Users with admin/member/contributor permissions will see the refreshed data automatically after applying filters on the PowerApp visual.   We are currently utilizing the Power Apps visual in Power BI to allow users to interact with data and update reports in real time. This functionality has proven to be highly valuable, and we would like to make it available to all app viewers without assigning them admin, member, or contributor roles. The reason we cannot add these users to the workspace with elevated roles is that they only require access to a specific set of reports, rather than full workspace permissions. Currently, Power BI allows the option to “Show items with no data” for certain visuals, but this functionality is limited when using Line Charts with a Continuous axis type.  Allow line charts to display items with no data while keeping the axis type as Continuous. This would help maintain smooth scaling and date hierarchy formatting without forcing users to switch to categorical mode (which changes labels to raw date values).
