We are currently experiencing an issue where the activity is executed and marked as successful in the pipeline, but the internal processing has not caught up or the update has not been applied. We suspect that this may be primarily due to capacity-related factors. However, it feels inconsistent that the activity is displayed as successful despite the update not being reflected. We have a customer who is overseeing Power BI usage across their organization, and he is looking for a way to analyze user adoption and engagement trends over a broader time horizon. Specifically, they would like to request an enhancement to extend the data retention period in the Monitoring Hub from the current 30 days to at least 90 days. Issue Summary: Currently, usage metrics in both the Feature Usage and Adoption Report and Content Sharing Report are limited to approximately 28–30 days of visibility. Advanced filtering options also do not retrieve older data reliably. While we explored alternative options—such as using Audit Logs and Usage Metrics Reports—they provide fragmented insights and do not offer the comprehensive, user-centric dashboard that Monitoring Hub delivers. Problem As of July 2025,  26 of 145 tenant settings are in Preview-and 12 ship Enabled by default.  Preview featuresfall outside Microsoft’s normal SLA, support and data-residency guarantees .  Some previews  are already scheduled for retirement yet still activate automatically, exposing organisations to dead-end features.  Admins have no master switch for turning off default features. So they must re-audit the portal after every monthly release. This is a  gap called out repeatedly in the community community.fabric.microsoft.com.  Impact Production workloads lose contractual SLAs the moment they touch an auto-enabled preview. Compliance and data-sovereignty promises can be broken without any conscious action by the customer. Security posture erodes: new, unvalidated endpoints light up before risk teams can review them. Admin overhead skyrockets; scarce BI teams spend time chasing settings drift instead of delivering value. Proposal Ship every preview feature with Default = OFF for all tenants and capacities. Excel Pivot Tables have the capability to drill-through (double-clicking numbers in the pivot table), which direct lake models don't seem to support.   In the models themselves, we can define detail rows expressions just fine, and the DAX DETAILROWS function also works fine, but the MDX equivalent that Excel generates does not.   Idea is to add capability for Pivot Table drill-through against Direct Lake semantic models.   Thanks! ...
