It would be great to have the ability to add borders to the Grouping of visuals e.g. The only way of doing this at the moment is to overlay a transparent card with, in the example, a shadow.

I have a semantic model with several OData D365 connections. When I publish updates to the model and look at the Data source credentials in settings, all of them are showing an issue (triangle with !). I have to edit each one and login again with my account to clear the issue and enable refresh. I understand that this is the current functionality. Since the authentication method, account, and password have not changed, the existing OAuth2 credentials should still work. Why should I have to do this after making small updates to the queries in the model? Also, since all the connections are to the same D365 base URL why are there separate credentials for each one? I should only have to enter the credentials once for all the connections because they are all going to the same place. CLiente, Nome, Cidade, Data de Admissão, quantidade de vendas, preço total Congelar colunas COd Cliente, Nome. As outras mesmo que afastando a barra para a direita as colunas informada continuam fixas horizontalmente.

Curretly we can only setup capacity email notifications when we hit a certain CU% threshold or when the capacity hits 100% at certain timepoint. But most of the time (specially with power bi) it doesn't mean that we have problems nor that user experience is compromised. Having an optiong to send email notifications when we hit 100% interactive delay and 100% interactive background would be of great help. On my side we're trying to setup a monitoring solution to auto-alert when a capacity it throttled. Is power automate + fabric metrics dataset a viable solution?

Idea: I am a regular user of the Microsoft Gantt visual for project tracking and have encountered a usability challenge that I believe could enhance the experience for many users. Problem: Currently, the width of the "Task Name" column is static and manually adjustable. For projects with long task names, increasing the width to display the full name results in the timeline view becoming scrollable, which disrupts workflow and visual efficiency. This limitation affects users who need to balance task name visibility with an uncluttered timeline view. Proposed Solution: Introduce a feature that allows users to dynamically adjust the "Task Name" column width based on their preferences or requirements. This could include: An option to enable auto-adjustment based on the longest task name. A toggle to allow truncation with hover-over tooltips for the full task name. A drag-and-resize functionality that minimizes interference with the timeline view. This enhancement would give users the flexibility to customize their Gantt chart layout without compromising either the clarity of task names or the timeline's usability. Value Addition: Implementing this feature would significantly improve user productivity and satisfaction by addressing the needs of different user groups: Users who want to see full task names without truncation. Hi Team, There is an issue with the connection while using the data flow takeover functionality. It doesn't connect directly to the credentials, and I have to unlink and re-establish the connection each time as a workaround after the takeover. Please prioritize this issue, as it is outside my regular day-to-day tasks and takes additional time to resolve. Thanks.

Good Afternoon, We have a problem with use a Personal Workspaces. When I Have a Personal Workspace and i have a Pro-License of Power BI, we can share without our governance. In a metting with Meha of Microsoft, actually we don´t have any solution with that and recommend to put this on New Idea no Fabric Portal.

Hi, Currently if a pbix file is published and then used by a live linked file or directy query, then if the name of a calculated column/mesaure is changed in the source file then it throws an error in the thin file. Instead of being linked by name it should be linked by id and the changed name should flow through. PW

We want to create Power BI data connection in our on premise gateway server to point to the secondary node of SQL server instead of the primary. But currently there is no way we can put a parameter ApplicationIntent to ReadOnly for same. This feature should be available

The shortcut exists in the web version of Power BI, but not in the desktop one. I imagine (although I might be wrong) that implementing it should be relatively easy since it's already been implemented in the web version.

The sql endpoint api (/workspaces/{workspaceId}/sqlEndpoints) responds with { "value": [ { "id": "3546052c-ae64-4526-b1a8-52af7761426f", "displayName": "SQLEndpoint Name 1", "description": "A SQL endpoint description.", "type": "SQLEndpoint", "workspaceId": "cfafbeb1-8037-4d0c-896e-a46fb27ff229" } ] } It would be very helpfull if the sql connections string of that endpoints would also be included in the response so that it can be used in other processes.

Right now composite model is the only way to reuse measures accross reports. However composite model causes performance issues. Please provide a smoother experience with reusing measures/ composite modelling. Composite modelling takes away the effort of rewriting measures, so its a great feature, however needs performnce upgrade.

We will need the support to Tooltip on Information Button give for Power BI mobile App for all device. However the same works in mobile browsers. Business requirements do need this functionality and alternative would not help in real time scenarios. Supportig post on same request and stating it as limitation currently. We are attempting to set up Incremental Refresh for Dataflow Gen2 with Azure Table Storage. Unfortunately, Azure Table Storage does not support Query Folding as it lacks native query language support. We are exploring alternative methods to enable incremental refresh for unsupported data sources.

Usually when we do KQL investigations, we start with one query, execute it, then analyze the results, copy some data from the results and craft subsequent queries with those data points to continue this loop of investigation. When we go back and look at a historical investigation kql query tab, you will see the queries but not the results and it is hard to follow the chain of thought for that investigation. Ask is to make KQL Querysets similar to Jupyter Notebooks, where queries and results are collected and you can follow the sequence. We should be able to expand or fold the results pane for each query. The results should also be saved inside the KQL querysets along with the timestamp when the query was executed. Because the data in the data source could expire and we might still need that data to understand the investigation conclusion that was arrived at in future.
