Our application developed ODATA Service, which we use to get the data by connecting to servers. When user tries to refresh the data by clicking on Refresh button on PBI Desktop, if the result set is not readily available, ODATA service displays a message, which is not shown to user as there is not static screen. I have an Azure DB that my reports grab data from, and I've set up my PC to be a gateway, but the scheduled refresh frequently fails with this error message: "Microsoft SQL: Timeout Expired" I've noticed that if I connect to this DB via SQL Server Management Studio that I have issues seeing my tables while the powerBI gateway is running.
