Hey Community , Does Not allowing to change the update method to "replace" from "append" in data flow gen2 , if the df gen2 is craeted from within warehouse has some purpose back picture , or it is limitation which can be updated from microsoft end in near future. I reguest Microsoft team , to work on this issue.

Hi Team, We would like to suggest generating the SLA report based on specific Work Order numbers instead of Task Codes. This would make it easier for us to track and process the work orders accordingly. In addition to that, could you please add two new columns with the headers Root Cause and Mitigation to the report? We appreciate your support in enhancing our operational effectiveness. Thank you!

Dear CMMS Power BI Team, We would like to highlight a recurring issue where work orders are being flagged as SLA breached in Power BI, despite being QC closed within the acceptable timeframe in CMMS. For example, one work order had a due date of 12 May 2025 at 00:00 hrs but was closed on 11 May at 14:00 hrs. However, it still appeared as SLA breached in Power BI. We suspect this may be due to a time deviation between CMMS OKR Power BI GMT vs UTC. We kindly request your assistance to review this discrepancy and implement a resolution to ensure alignment between CMMS system time and Power BI reporting, preventing similar issues moving forward. Appreciate your prompt support on this matter.

Dear Community, I am just getting started with Power BI (and Fabric), and I’ve been exploring its various features. One thing I really enjoy is the grouping functionality in Power Query mode. It’s so helpful for structuring data during the upload process. However, what I’m currently missing is a similar feature in the Data area after the data has been uploaded. It would be amazing if there were an option to create custom, self-defined groups within the Data view, on top of the regular structured data. Maybe this feature already exists and I just haven’t seen it? If so, I’d love to hear about it! If not, I truly hope this might be considered as a future improvement. Current State: Developers can connect to shared semantic models and then convert to a Local Copy via Direct Query. They can use the measures in visualizations, however, they cannot see how that measure has been defined. Reasoning: While it is understandable that the developer cannot modify the semantic model's measure, it would be very helpful to be able to see the actual DAX behind the measure. It is important to understand how a measure is calculated before using it to build reports. Recommendation: Allow developers connecting to shared semantic models to be able to view the Measure DAX, while maintaining security to prevent modification of the DAX measure. Its possible that this ability is restricted to some level of access in the PBI workspace.

I have a hub with lots of link that users want to share with others. Right now I am using the HTML Content visual to show the link and allow them to highlight, but a button that allows users to click to copy a value from a measure would be 10/10. PLEASE!

Direct Query as an Input Parameter as DateTimeSlicer for Dates just allows Vertical List, Tile and Drop-down. Please add it for a date range as well.

Why doesn’t this table include "create date/time" and "update date/time"? We often resort to awkward workarounds, like adding date and time to the item name, just to keep track of when an item was created.

if i create a domein in ms fabric called d1 with domein administrator u1, and i create a workspace w1 and i delegate the workspace to d1, should user u1 be able to modify the workspace settings of w1. Currently you need toalso assign the user u1 to a ws role, in an additional step. Can this be done automaticaly when you delegate the ws to a domein?

In the Power BI mobile app, I attempted to place an invisible transparent button, image, or shape over the visuals to prevent visual filters from being applied. However, when I double-tap on it, an untitled page opens. Despite configuring actions through bookmarks, drillthrough, and other settings, the issue persists. Is there a way to prevent this behavior?

I would like to implement a feature where clicking on an image or button labeled "Refresh" triggers a DirectQuery refresh, updating all visuals within the Power BI Mobile UI. Is this functionality achievable? And I know, there is Page refresh and manual refresh to click on 3 dots on the UI and refresh visuals. But we want to add it on app canvas.

The "Data Warehouse" workspace object does not currently have the ability for somebody to "take ownership" of the warehouse, like other workspace objects do. People change roles, departments, and companies- we need the ability to update ownership of every workspace object type when that happens.

Olá, Como pedido e sugestão, atualmente ao exportar o relatório do Fabric para o Power Point e pôr este em modo de apresentação, filtros que possuem a necessidade de selecionar mais de uma opção, não respondem ao comando do Ctrl +, devido o PowerPoint "travar" algumas opções, o que acaba limitando a experiência do usuário final.

Hi, I work at an IT company and I develop projects using Fabric and Power BI Premium Per User for our clients. When I build my data platform using Dataflows Gen1, I can export the dataflow to JSON and create an exact copy with just a couple of clicks. It would be extremely convenient to be able to export data platform solutions built with Datamarts in order to replicate them in other environments easily and quickly. This same functionality would be revolutionary if it were also made available in Fabric. Since I have clients using Business Central and CRM built in Power Apps (Dataverse), my Data Platform projects in Fabric are often very similar. I would love to be able to export the entire infrastructure I create (for example, a Medallion architecture with the three historical layers bronze-silver-gold, the associated notebooks, Dataflows Gen2, and pipelines that allow me to manage data end-to-end) and import it into a new client's environment, just like I can with Dataflows Gen1. In short, it would be about managing the Fabric infrastructure as if it were a "Solution" in Dynamics Power Apps. This would significantly speed up the time-to-market for solutions provided by service companies. I really hope this feature will be avaiable soon. Thank you, Luca Gozzoli
