We are currently migrating reports from old tenant to new one, we already imported the pbix files to the new tenant, but we're having problems with some multiple reports that was created/connected from one semantic model, when we are uploading them it creates semantic model/dataset each report. It would be useful to have an M function to keep duplicates based on selected column(s). This would allow the users to see the user to recognise where the duplicates occur and to choose which row to keep in the Table (from the duplicates). At this moment to find the duplicates I am using GroupBy, Allrows, Count rows, Select the groups that has more than 2 in count. For large dataset that has over 500000 rows having few duplicates, this approach creates unwanted too many groups a Thus, this is not an efficient method I feel.  A Table.NonDistinct function in M may help. In a standard web browser page (pick just about any product: Edge, Chrome, I.E., etc.) a standard user interface action to zoom in and out is to hold down the Ctrl key and move the mouse scroll wheel. Typically, one click of the scroll wheel will zoom in or out 10% per click.  But in Fabric Task View, that same action takes me from this: to this: with one notch of the wheel.  This is horrible user interaction.   Please make it so one notch of the scroll wheel equals 10% zoom in or out, respectively. ... It would be excellent to improve the desktop refresh UI. For large reports it's very hard to track progress and use the information to improve.   Currently all tables start in "Creating connection in model" which of course they aren't. The status icon spinner is spinning for every table until they all finish, of course they're not all busy. It's a small non-resizable window, and you have to scroll around to see what's happening. Once the refresh finishes, the window closes with no record of what happened.   It would be great to improve the UI: Show what each source is really doing - "Waiting", "Retreiving schema information", "Loading data", "Processing loaded data and calculating columns", "Complete". Change the spinner to show the status - waiting (spinner)/working (something else!)/complete (tick). Show the start time and completion time for each table (and peak memory used would be a godsend). Make the window resizable, scroll to the last udpated status (if the user hasn't scrolled manually elsewhere). Don't close the window at the end, allow us to save it to a file (or table), perhaps with even more detailed logging information. Finally - as many others have requested - I'd love something similar to the above log to be available somewhere for refreshes on the PowerBI service. ... View more

Default Sorting Order for Bar Charts: Currently, when creating bar charts, the default behavior is to sort the series by values in descending order. It would be very useful to have an option to change this default behavior to sort by series labels in ascending order. Default Interaction Between Visuals: The default interaction setting between visuals is currently set to Highlight. I propose allowing this default setting to be changed to Filter. Filtering often provides a clearer view of the relationship between data by focusing on relevant information, making it a preferred choice for many users. Short Date Format as Default for Date Fields Currently, new date fields are always formatted as long date, even if you set them to Short Date in Power Query. When trying to determine the correct naming convention to request the correct Power Bi reporting it would be helpful for the name of that to pop up when it tells you that you do not have access for this report, then give you the naming convention that you need to request to request the access. Currently the stored procedure activity has a retry count which is helpful as there are often brief connection/network/access failures which can cause a proc to fail on the first attempt.  The Lookup Activity can also fail on the first try so a retry count would reduce the times you have to go back and manually re-run. ...
