So, i am evaluating real time data dashboard for my client and wow ! PowerBI already took the expectations down. i connected with SharePoint Online list using the Online services. it has been 3 frustrating hours but yet PowerBi is not able to sync data from Online to PowerBi desktop. Only 4000 line items. And, i am comparing it with Tableau ? Am i missing anything , guys?

Dear all, since the new update we noticed a problem with the X axis in the stacked area chart. No all the values of the X axis are showed in the chart. For example, we have set on the X axis date from 31/12/15 to 01/06/16 but the last date showed in the stacked area chart is the 18/05/16. Is there an issue with this chart? Thank you

Quick Calc is not working with card visual. It stays on 100% whatever the selection made.

I added a BMP image to a report in PBI Desktop. It looked great and the display did not degrade the image (a company logo) at all. However, when I published the report to the PBI service, that same image had heavily degraded. This is the only way to get images onto reports in the PBI service. Can this process be fixed to not degrade images added in Desktop? (I can send examples if needed)

I created a measure to caculate teh moving annual toal of sales (based on dates). This works. But I when I create a graph with on the X-axis the time (weeks) and on the Y axis the MAT measure, the plot does not show the moving annual total, but the sales on that particular week...

when i put a filed in details in the pie chart, i don't see the value of details when i hoover the pie chart, it is filled with the legend value. for example: pie chart by item no and amount, i put item name in details, but when i hoover the pie chart then i see: item name: 'value of the item no' and not the name as i expect to see

We have a DateTime Column that displays the time just fine in Power BI Desktop. When the report is published to the PowerBI Service, though, it zeros out the time 0:00:00

This is an issue with the May 31 PowerBI Desktop - I use Analysis Server/Database for my source and the MDX Query that I had for my reports is now disappearing from the Source Dialog once I click the OK button.

Hi, I created a report in the desktop app and published that online. I then linked it to a content pack (The data source, report and Dashboard). However, only users using IOS can actually slice and dice with the report on the mobile phones, whereas android users cannot see the report at all in the group. I can however see the report in my workspace and interact with it with my android device, but if I log into the group where I published the content pack, I cant see it?

I am planning to build DWH in Hadoop (Impala)and I don't want the data to be duplicated in reporting tool layer. Is it possible to build the semantic layer in power BI and make use of the query to run in HADOOP ? and get the result alone to power BI and formatted , similar to Business Objects?

Card visualisations shrink to smallest size on close and re-open of file. This issue also sometimes occurs in other situations, such as when undoing an unrelated operation. This issues persists even if the file is closed without saving changes. This issues is present on the Desktop version.

End the Cortana Q&A flow in the app (rather than the web). Integrate into the personal assisting aspect - for example open up your main dashboard every morning when you wake up.

Seems like there are more problems with NATURALLEFTOUTERJOIN, NATURALINNERJOIN and CROSSJOIN functions used to create calculatd table in PowerBI Desktop. When I have a relationship defined between "ItemID" columns, I get the error "The column with name ItemID already exists in 'Table' Table" but there is no such a table in the model. If I remove the relationship and even though I have "ItemID" named the same in both tables, I get the error that there are no common columns between the tables even though the documentation indicates that it will join on common column names. I tried both 1:1 and 1:* relationships. Also with Single and Both crossfilters. With CROSSJOIN with or without a relationship, I get the error that ItemID already exists. I tried both 1:1 and 1:* relationships. Also with Single and Both crossfilters. Both of my ItemID columns were whole number. I also tried as text. Same results. Can PowerBI team lookat it? It seriously deteriorating purpose of new PowerBI Feature to create calculated tables. Thanks
