Please allow developers the ability to download the png file that was uploaded to be used as an icon for an app in Power BI service either calling the API or using a Powershell cmdlet. It seems there is no such property of an app currently that will allow a dev to retrieve the image file. It's a small file >45KB so this should not be an issue. Thanks. ... View more

I have a Fabric warehouse and a Semantic model developed using Tabular Editor. We deploy the model to a Power BI Premium workspace using Azure DevOps release pipelines, specifically the 'Tabular Database Deployment' job, and a PowerShell script to refresh credentials for different environment releases. Since Fabric warehouse does not support SQL authentication, I had to use Cloud connections and create mapping connections. The data processing works without issues, but there are two features lacking with this Cloud connection: Cloud Connection—'Maps to:' Drop Down: The drop-down does not allow selection of other created connections. If I delete the model and deploy it afresh, I cannot select the earlier cloud connection. I have to delete the previous connection and create a new one. Otherwise, there will be duplicate connections with different names and orphans. The drop-down should allow a selection of available connections. Automating Cloud Connection Mapping: The cloud connection mapping has to be done manually the first time from the workspace. How can I achieve this through PowerShell in Azure DevOps to deploy and redeploy (if it does not exist) every time I release for different environments with different service principals? Issue: After closing a Dataflow Gen2 session, users cannot access it from the left navigation bar, unlike Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Pipelines. This makes it harder to reopen and navigate back to their work.   Suggestion: Add Dataflow Gen2 to the left sidebar, similar to other Fabric resources, so users can quickly access and resume their dataflows.   Benefit: Easier navigation without needing to go back to the workspace every time. Hi all Why we dont yet have a Matrix style table on Services Peginated Report? We do not need to use the old Report Builder for just this. The classic table looks really bad when there are Category - Subcategory at the row section (whith repeating labels etc). This is not ideal with the consumer. From a corporate reporting standpoint is the greatest thing to happen. When someone needs just numbers/figures you jump in there throw some dimensions and measures , with your subtotals right there and everything you really need. + Subscreption to automatically be sent to the consumer in the needed format  (embeded , pdf ,excel  etc) This will be amazing to have!     ...
