Dear CMMS Power BI Team, We would like to highlight a recurring issue where work orders are being flagged as SLA breached in Power BI, despite being QC closed within the acceptable timeframe in CMMS. For example, one work order had a due date of 12 May 2025 at 00:00 hrs but was closed on 11 May at 14:00 hrs. However, it still appeared as SLA breached in Power BI. We suspect this may be due to a time deviation between CMMS OKR Power BI GMT vs UTC. We kindly request your assistance to review this discrepancy and implement a resolution to ensure alignment between CMMS system time and Power BI reporting, preventing similar issues moving forward. Dear Community, I am just getting started with Power BI (and Fabric), and I’ve been exploring its various features. One thing I really enjoy is the grouping functionality in Power Query mode. It’s so helpful for structuring data during the upload process. However, what I’m currently missing is a similar feature in the Data area after the data has been uploaded. It would be amazing if there were an option to create custom, self-defined groups within the Data view, on top of the regular structured data. Maybe this feature already exists and I just haven’t seen it? If so, I’d love to hear about it! If not, I truly hope this might be considered as a future improvement. Current State: Developers can connect to shared semantic models and then convert to a Local Copy via Direct Query. They can use the measures in visualizations, however, they cannot see how that measure has been defined.   Reasoning: While it is understandable that the developer cannot modify the semantic model's measure, it would be very helpful to be able to see the actual DAX behind the measure. It is important to understand how a measure is calculated before using it to build reports.   Recommendation: Allow developers connecting to shared semantic models to be able to view the Measure DAX, while maintaining security to prevent modification of the DAX measure. When a report that uses a live connection to a published dataset is saved in PBIP format in the same folder as the dataset (github repo for example), it sometimes gets connected using a "byPath" connection which then makes Power BI Desktop that it has its own dataset (which is not true) and will apply changes to the dataset's ".SemanticModel" folder even though we haven't made any changes to the dataset. Here you can see that a report named "EAM-Backlog-Report" have only a ".Report" folder and no ".SemanticModel" folder and that's because it was designed to be connected live to a dataset named "EAM-Backlog Dataset". But in the "definition.pbir" file, the connection points to a relative path and if I try to open the report, it will not show this message in the status bar:  And you will be able to modify power query scripts, relationships and columns, just as if you openned the actual dataset object instead of the report.   I understand that's how deployment pipelines are able to connect to report to the dataset that is in the same workspace. But that causes some headaches when using Git repos and the reports are making unwanted changes to dataset.   My request is for reports that have a live connection could use a byPath connection but do not allow modification of the dataset.   ...
