We are facing a strange behavior, for some people who login in to PowerBI.com. When some of our people login they get into a refreshing loop of powerBi.com. which makes it impossible to use Power BI at all, for these users. We have a report with 2 data sources: Salesforce, MySQL. We installed enterprise gateway, and added MySQL database as data source to enterprise gateway successfully. However we cannot select the gateway in the gateway connection (schedule refresh). I did a testing report with only MySQL DB as data source, and I was able to select enterprise gateway in gateway connecton. I guess the problem might be Salesforce is connected directly without gateway while MySQL database needs a gateway. Could you please help me on this? We do need 2 data sources. Thanks. ... View more

Tiles created in the report with a specific color or sizing format is lost when pinned to the dashboard. The workaround is to pin the entire report page. However, a lot of work has gone into formatting the tile (background, size, color, etc...), it would be nice if those tiles can be pinned to the dashboard as formatted. ... View more

Hi All, I've installed Power BI Desktop on a server with a local SQL Instance so we can publish to bi.com using the gateway. When trying to add a custom column and entering a column formula it states "The formula is incomplete" with every formula added, even just '="a"' shows as incomplete. Works fine in other instances of Desktop but they don't have line of sight of the SQL database. Tried clearing Cache Cleared App Data directory Re-installed Upgrade to latest version UAC is off (but is has been run as an admin anyway) Tried a new report with a completely different data set Based on the above it would suggest something environmental, anyone have any ideas? Hello Team, Recently, we have implemented RLS and have published dashboard with Power BI pro version for 60 days trial in Power BI web. When we refresh our dataset and re-publishing at that time RLS is working fine up to Report Level but not working fine in dashboard. Once we click any tile of dashboard it will redirect to report and and back to dashboard and press CTRL + F5 (Full refresh) then and then RLS is working in published dashboard. I am unable to replace an existing SQL Server Database data source with an SSAS Tabular one. It doesn't make sense to have to create a new file and a new connection to update the data source for a report, especially since you are unable to copy dashboard/pages from one file to another.
