Today KQL database shortcuts work within a region. Need the ability to follow a database that is hosted in a different region in order to avoid reingesting the data to the Eventhouse in the curent region but still be able to run analytics on databases that are hosted in this region and the follower DB that gets the data from the other region.

Every time you filter a stacked column chart visual to a single element, TOTAL labels disappear and you only have the "column" label. I strongly suggest to be able to configure if, when filtered to a single element, keep the grand total label or the single element label...

In the workspace list flyout, and the new horizontal tabs, I have noticed that the workspace images disappear sometimes, and fall back to the default (generic) workspace icons - as if we hadn't uploaded any workspace image. Later, the images re-appear. Refreshing the browser window usually brings them back. This only affects some workspaces at a time, not all workspaces are affected at the same time. https://www.reddit.com/r/MicrosoftFabric/s/TrYJBmHlQv This is an issue for us because we use the images to visually confirm whether an opened item belongs to Dev, Test or Prod. When the images disappear, the risk of making changes directly in a Test or Prod item increases greatly.

Need a way to copy a query from a dashboard tile, including the visual, data and a link that can be used to execute the query. Very much like in a query set.

Come on Microsoft. Allow Copy a visual from PowerBI and Paste into a word document. Some of the world is still old fashioned and need to print stuff on paper. While Power BI is a great screen tool, and somewhat useful for export to PDF, we need to be able to copy the visual we create and paste into word.

Hi. I'm wondering is it difficult to add advanced properties for folders in power query view and make those overrighting properties of underlying objects. I'm having usecases from time to time when I need to work with multiple queries and functions. But in those cases I'm not planning to load them to any other system - it's like read data, clean it and test hypothesys using visuals. It would be greight to have possibility to set whole folder properies like bellow and make queries of this folder use them. Thanks

Each low-level object in Fabric has a "More Options" elipses showing e.g. Settings, Recent Runs, Schedule etc. It would be useful if this elipses button could be appended to the left hand navigation bar for each low level object, as I might not always want to open the object, but just perform one one of these tasks on it. So an example navigation could go: MyWorkspace -> MyFolder -> MyNotebook (Show elipses here) -> Recent Runs

Description: Currently, when using Power BI Embedded to display reports within an iframe on a web page, if a user is not signed in and clicks the “Sign in” button, a new pop-up window opens for login. This behavior can disrupt the user experience, especially in scenarios where a seamless, inline workflow is expected. Request: Please provide an option to display the login form directly within the embedded report (inline on the same page) instead of opening a separate pop-up window.

We suggest PBIDesktop.exe parameters, such as user@domain.com + tenantid. Explanation: as a Business Intelligence company we login on a number of times a day on different tenants, each time with a guest account. In short, this is a real cumbersome process to begin with and we'd like it automated. Can you build command line parameters for the PBIDesktop.exe with at least these possibilities: - username: user@domain.com - tenantid in guid format - file to open ? We should be able to load and combine multiple files having the same schema from a OneLake folder just like we could from ADLS, Blob, or even SharePoint. I just don't understand why the combine files option is disabled when the files are saved in OneLake. This is a pretty significant limitation of DFs utility.

It would be benefiicial to add the option to provide examples queries in Data Agents with sematic models as data source, the same way as it is done for the Lakehouse/Warehouse data sources.

Add support for JDBC connection to a spark session using simba a driver. Livy API is not scalable for submitting multiple spark sql queries for workloads like dbt.

We have three security permissions on the on-premises data gateway: Admin, Connection creator and Connection creator with sharing. We would request for an API to retrieve the user's security permissions from the "Manage Users" section of the on-premises data gateway.

Currently, when creating Table or Matrix visuals in Power BI, columns and rows do not automatically adjust to fit the visual container size. This requires manual resizing, which is time-consuming and often leads to distorted layouts when data changes or grows. Proposed Enhancement: Add an option for dynamic auto-adjustment of column widths and row heights based on the visual’s container size. Ensure this feature works responsively when data updates or when the report is viewed on different screen sizes. Allow users to toggle between manual and auto-adjust modes for flexibility. Benefits: Saves time by eliminating repetitive manual adjustments. Improves readability and consistency across dashboards. Enhances user experience for responsive layouts

Currently, in Power BI, if you filter out a row in a matrix visual, its values are excluded from totals and other calculations. This creates challenges when you want to hide certain rows (e.g., blanks or intermediate categories) for presentation purposes but still keep their contribution to totals. Proposed Enhancement: Add an option in matrix visuals to hide rows without removing their data from aggregations. Allow users to mark rows as “hidden” while totals and grand totals remain accurate. Optionally, provide a toggle for “Adjust layout automatically” so the matrix resizes and recalculates visual space when rows are hidden. Benefits: Cleaner reports without losing data integrity. Better control over presentation for executive dashboards. Avoid complex DAX workarounds (BLANK() measures, conditional formatting).
