I wanted an ability where data types like record, table, binary could be sent to the lakehouse and data warehouse. Currently that's not supported and I would like to have that ability via gen2 data flows to allow for optimizations on operating on these types and make them accessible to subsequent dataflows and notebooks.   a prime example is utilizing this for excel workbooks to be able to store their binary data or send it via the dataflow. Currently we got a bunch of unsorted visualizations in the visualizations pane in PowerBI. What I would like to see is a bit more flexible visualizations pane section. In specific, I would like to place certain visuals (be it PowerBI native vizs or custom/imported vizs) in folders or groups. This would be particularly helpful if you organize the visuals by use case. For instance, I would name one group "Comparison" and would place all my favourite comparison visualizations there, then the next group I would maybe name "Change over Time" and would place all my favourite change over time visualizations there, and so on. I was wondering whether this or a similar feature is planned or already in development. Would be nice to see something along those lines, making the whole visualizations process more intuitive and straightforward. As of now I need to keep an external file with my favourite visualizations. To take this even a step futher, the "Get More Visuals" interface should be able to input visuals directly in the specific folder you wish the visual to be placed in. I want to switch/edit model file source tables to a new warehouse from an existing one without having to recreate a new model file connected to a new warehouse and start over.  Power BI models seem to allow edit data connection strings.  I already have reporting built on top of the model file but the data is moving from the source warehouse of the current model.  And moving workspaces eventually.   Edit tables or edit model feature doesn't suggest the source location change like Data Flows and Copy Jobs can  (workspace/onelake/lakehouse/warehouse) after its already created.  It appears to be hardcoded to the warehouse.  It only the tables already loaded from a source.  I want to move the underlining data to new lakehouses/warehouses/workspaces due to new architecture/consolidation/reorgs owning new data objects and naming conventions and not have to rebuild a new model to support it.  It appears functionality doesn't exist for modifying an existing model sources in fabric in the model builder or warehouse model layout.   ... Previously there was a downloadable PDF version of the Fabric Roadmap. This was useful because you can search across the entire roadmap. The web version has multiple pages, and to use a browser's search requires opening each page. You can search with Bing or Copilot, but when a search fails, it is hard to know if it is because the item is not in the roadmap or if the search failed to find it. If I have a single PDF and do a word search that comes up empty, then I know the item is not in the roadmap. PS: It seems that the roadmap has significant gaps. For example, the roadmap doesn't include Power BI Desktop projects (PBIP) - Power BI | Microsoft Learn even though it is in public preview. All items that are in public preview should show up in the roadmap. I would like to suggest an enhancement for Power BI regarding the refresh history logs. Currently, the logs do not display the user ID or name associated with a dataset refresh. When managing Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI's Semantic Model security view, it's currently unclear which specific reports users are being granted access to. While the "Manage Permissions" option in the report itself makes it clear that access is being granted to a specific report, the Semantic Model RLS view lacks that context. This becomes a significant challenge when: Granting access to multiple users across multiple reports. Auditing or reviewing who has access to what. Ensuring the right level of security and access controls are applied consistently. Suggestion: Please consider enhancing the Semantic Model RLS interface by: Including a report name on the top left near "Row-level Security". Possibly providing a consolidated access matrix for semantic models showing users, roles, and report-level access. In Power BI workspace, there's a configuration for reports that will be displayed in an app. We can decide which report will be visible for a group of users. However it can only be done at PBIX file level. So all reports currently follow those access rights. Currently, when exporting a Power BI Desktop report (PBIX) to PDF using File > Export > Export to PDF, the process generates the PDF automatically and opens it—without prompting the user to save it to a specific location or rename it. This can be frustrating, especially when: Users want to name the file before saving Files are exported to a temporary folder by default Files get overwritten without warning Proposed Improvement: Please add a “Save As” prompt when users choose to export a report to PDF.
