We have a requirement from senior management to send monthly exports of data from a Power BI report. At the moment the most we can do is to either export it manually ourselves into an Excel file and share it, or to create a subscribtion from a Dashboard, but the first is very manual and the second requires the stakelholders to click on a link, find the data, and export it themselves.   This would be better resolved if we could create a monthly export of data from a single table on that report or dashboard, to be automatically sent in email to those stakeholders. ... It would be beneficial to the business, and TA to be able to report on the hiring volumes and progress on those company's specific hiring demands, split by company /legal entity. As an example, currently in Italy there are 165 Reqs yet to be filled. President wants a report of the hiring progress on a weekly basis by quarter for each company entity ie KIIS, Intesa and Kyndryl. This is manual reporting only trackable by Req currently, and consumes 3 peoples man hours in TA, as well as 2 WS. Approx 5 hours per week. We are currently using Treemaps in Paginated Report Builder (SSRS) and have encountered a recurring limitation: there is no built-in property to hide or remove the category field label (i.e., the group label that appears in the top-left corner of the visual).   Our team has attempted several workarounds, such as toggling label visibility with expressions like: =IIf(Count(Fields!YourField.Value)>1, true, false)     However, these approaches are unreliable and unintuitive, especially when a category contains only one record—resulting in both the label and the data being hidden, which affects reporting clarity.     Why this feature matters: Cleaner visuals for executive-facing reports More control over the layout and formatting Aligns with the flexibility already available in Power BI visuals We kindly request Microsoft to consider adding a toggle or visibility property that gives report authors explicit control over the display of category field names in Treemaps in Paginated Report Builder.   Thank you for considering this suggestion!   Martina Cahya Pratiwi Business Intelligence Analyst www.teamlogix.com.au ... Hello,    The Microsoft community has identified a major error with PowerBI. This error relates to using date slicers. For some users, when we input a date slicer, it causes other visualizations to error out. In the first picture below, you can see an example. This is with the date slicer. In the second picture, the only difference is that I've deleted the date slicer.          This problem does not occur if you use other means to filter down to a date range (E.g. drilling down on a line chart), it only occurs when there is a date slicer present. I am using a Windows Surface Pro 11 and the May 2025 version of PowerBI.  Comments in the thread below indicate that microsoft is aware of this issue but there is no timeline to fixing it. There is no reason why a customer using the latst version of PowerBI and the latest Microsoft computer cannot reliably use one of the most basic features of PowerBI. Gen2 transformation - I had a problem where Text.Contains failed due to null introduced in data.  Took days to find 146 null items in a column and what column it was due to fabric's generic null to logical conversion mashup error.   If there is an error in a Gen2 transform at least: * Identify the column with the issue * Move any failed rows into an error rows table. * On refresh for each transformation fail at that point if there is an error, i.e. simulate.   Trial and error across 200 columns and millions of rows is not an option.   Thank you. ... Hi Team,   One of fabric user has reported the issue that the datamart (A) has been deleted from workspace months ago still he is getting refresh failure notification email on this and cx wants to disable it because cx getting emails on daily basis.   While cx was checking this with admin and they have checked the logs and tried deleting the orphaned datamart (A). However, the correct datamart (B) has been disappeared from the wirkspace which was important one and 1000s of users are affected in the organization. Customer wants to restore it because it was important one. And she is getting refresh failure notification email for both the datamarts (A&B).   Ask: There should be feature to restore the datamart to retrive the same. At the moment we don't have the ability to easily hide the composite key within the activator alerts, this then usually leads to duplication of the actual values you want to include in the alert and also makes it look quite messy. Same for the Activation time, if we could remove the item from the alert field then that would be great as it is already comes up at the top of the alert anyway sop again duplicating values.   We are quite keen on using these alerts (easily - not with a complex workaround) within a number of our applications so the ability to hide or remove these from the GUI (obviously not the underlying code as it's the unique key) would be amazing. ... Hi  Every time a user uploads an image, an email is sent to the form builder from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** despite the option to get an email response for each is disabled. If the user uploads more than one file, an email notification is sent for each item. This is a group form, but the actual builder member is receiving this email. This has never happened before and has only recently started happening. None of the other members of the group are receiving this email, just the one member who happened to have built it.
