At Talent Bridge BD, we use Power BI to drive Human Capital insights—tracking employee wellness, retention, performance, and more. We love how new features are tagged as “Shipped”, but it can be easy to miss what's new and useful, especially for non-technical HR users. We’d like to suggest a more friendly and actionable way to notify users about new feature rollouts in Power BI: 1. Personalized Notifications Let users (especially HR and analytics leads) subscribe to updates relevant to their dashboards—like data visual changes, slicer improvements, or export options—so they know right away when something “Shipped” is available in their tenant. 2. Impact for HCM Use Cases It would be great if shipped features could include a short note showing how they apply to HR use cases—for example, "This helps with employee sentiment dashboards" or "Improves visibility in diversity reports." 3. Updates Tile on Power BI Home A simple update tile or digest panel on the Power BI homepage showing the latest relevant features (e.g., for TBBD Wellness Metrics Overview or Talent Bridge BD Overview) would help HR teams adopt updates without digging through release blogs. 4. In-Dashboard Highlights Allow report authors to highlight newly shipped features inside dashboards, like a small pop-up or tag saying, “Now using the new KPI visual—shipped this quarter!” 5. Quick Feedback Option Let us rate new features (“Helpful” / “Needs Improvement”) so the Power BI team knows what’s working in real HCM scenarios. This kind of friendly, role-aware feature update experience would make it easier for HR and people analytics teams to stay current—and help Power BI have an even bigger impact in the talent management space. Thanks for all the amazing updates so far—Power BI keeps getting better and better! Warm regards, The Talent Bridge BD Team admin@talentbridgebd.com
