I'm kind of baffled this isn't a feature because it seems so fundamental to data presentation. If I have a report with multiple visuals, I should be able to assert consistent colours for the same category across the report.  Manually doing this is not a valid solution, because you cannot manually set valid categories in dynamic datasets when those categories don't happen to have data in the current snapshot. Context / Problem: Some reports have a lot of filters (dozens) and is really difficult for an end-user to easily have an idea of the currently applied filters. Hi We are using Scorecard evermore to display stats and KPIs - we will be adapting our use to meet the gap left by the departure of Viva Goals.   A simple improvement I would like to see would be the use of more vibrant colours such as 'Red, Amber, Green' to convey status more directly ...  I feel the use of pastle colurs a bit 'weak'. I Would probably also like to be able simply to use strong colours like yellow and blue etc.   Also the ability to create a template of statuses (with colours) for use across the business - this would help standardisation. I really struggle to understand why this feature is not implemented? Its good to use a custom Canvas Setting, which usually goes along with a page view "Actual Size", but when my users are looking at the dashboard from a laptop I advise them to use "Fit to width" and sometimes if you are using a different monitor its better to use "Fit to page" but the problem is that you have to go through all the pages and change the view manually. Its very logical that if you want it for a certain page - you want it for all the pages or atleast introduce a toggle that can turn on this function of "Synced Page View" so when you change the view on the first page it changes it on all of the rest of the pages.   Thank you! ... Several customers are experiencing issues when creating multivalue parameters for paginated reports connected to a PostgreSQL database. We are currently using an ODBC connection to access PostgreSQL. While there are third-party visualizations for Box and Whisker or Violin Plot visuals, some organizations don't allow the installation of third-party sources.   Box and Whiskey and Violin Plot are very useful for understanding the mean, upper/lower quartile, and the max/min values of a dataset. Dear Power BI Team, I hope this message finds you well. I would like to submit a feature request to enhance the functionality of Gauge charts in Power BI. Currently, the color gradient settings in Gauge visuals allow only static numerical inputs for the minimum and maximum limits of the gradient. There is no option to use dynamic measures to define these gradient boundaries. This limitation restricts users who need to display dynamic indicators where the high and low boundaries frequently change based on data or slicer filters. Supporting dynamic gradient colors based on measures would enable: More flexible and meaningful visualizations of live or changing data. Advanced indicators that adapt automatically to the current dataset without manual adjustments. A significant improvement in user experience and efficiency, minimizing the need for complex workarounds such as SVG coding or custom visuals. I kindly suggest adding the capability to select measures (dynamic values) for the gradient limits in Gauge charts, allowing customizable and data-driven gradient rules rather than fixed static numbers. Even word allows version history! Instead, I make duplicate files named v1, v2, v3, v4, v5 etc to combat this. I now have about 27 different files for one powerbi project 😀.   Also, when I want to make changes to a report page I create a duplicate page in case I mess it up. SQL Server Mirroring is great but it cannot be used to indentify incremental create, read and update operations in the source system because you cannot turn on change data feed for Delta Lake tables in OneLake for the mirrored database. Currently python notebooks are subject to the same limits as spark notebooks Concurrency limits and queueing in Apache Spark for Fabric - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn   From my experiance this means that on an F2 you can not run more than 4 notebook sessions at once via a pipeline. This limit is fine for spark given the higher node size floor meaning that four sessions will likley consume 100% of an F2. However, as python notebooks run by default with 2 vCores you can run far more sessions at once for the same capacity. This limits how many jobs can run at once increasing ETL durations.   Ideally the queue limit for python notebooks should be double the spark notebook queue. E.g. 8 on an F2, or this could be a blended limit, e.g 2 spark notebooks and 4 python notebooks. ... View more
