I have a line chart with monthly (date type) data on the X-axis. It is set to continuous type. When I add an X-axis constant line to show the most recent month, the data label correctly shows 6/30/2025, but the line tooltip displays July 2025. It also look mismatched graphically. I understand this has something to do with binning and Power BI not showing the exact constant line value. I cannot use an overlay in this case. Hello,   I would like to have an option to remove the Power Apps visual loading instructions when Power Bi report is running in Power Bi service. If you have Power Apps visuals in your Power Bi report and those are hidden and triggered by a bookmark, everytime the user open the visual, those intructions are going to appear before the Power Apps app is loaded (see image bellow). Description: Power BI currently lacks the ability to manage publishing permissions at the individual app level. The existing tenant setting, “Publish apps to the entire organization,” operates only at the user or Azure AD group level. Once access is granted, users can publish any app they have access to—without restriction. This presents a critical governance gap for organizations with large-scale Enterprise and Self-Service BI environments. Sensitive apps containing confidential data can be inadvertently published to the entire organization, increasing the risk of data exposure and compliance violations. Why This Feature Is Needed Lack of Granularity: Current controls do not allow administrators to restrict publishing rights to specific apps. Risk of Oversharing: Users with publishing rights can unintentionally expose sensitive content. Governance Challenges: The inability to enforce app-level controls undermines enterprise data governance frameworks. Requested Enhancement Introduce App-Level Publishing Controls that allow Power BI administrators to: Grant publishing rights on a per-app basis. In the July 2025 Power BI update, the Shape formatting option was removed from the Button Slicer visual. This change has significantly impacted the ability to customize the appearance of slicers, especially for users who rely on rounded or pill-style buttons for consistent UX design. While layout and style settings (e.g., Card vs Table) remain, they do not offer the same level of visual control previously available through the Shape dropdown or border radius settings. Existing reports still retain their shaped buttons, which confirms that the underlying formatting logic is still supported — it's just no longer exposed in the UI. This change: Reduces visual flexibility for designers. Breaks consistency with existing reports. Removes a feature that was widely used and appreciated. Request: Please consider restoring the Shape formatting option or providing an alternative method (e.g., via theme JSON or advanced formatting) to control button shape directly. Hi, I posted this as an issue on the Power BI section of the forum and a support person said it's not currently supported, but suggested I post it here. The issue is that we have a requirement for several reports where we need a summary page, which includes a matrix for multiple measures (could be as many as 20-30 measures in one matrix). The matrix needs to have time intelligence for this month, last month, etc, and also a trend for the last 12 months.   We assumed we could use a calculation group for the time intelligence, and a sparkline for the trend. However, this does not work in the current Matrix implementation: 1. If measures are displayed on rows, using the format setting, then any sparkline is placed on another row, instead of a column at the end of the measure row 2. If calculation groups are in play, then attempting to add sparklines ends up with a sparkline for each calculation item present, instead of a single final row for the measure   Please add the ability to do this in the built-in matrix visual.   P.S. Hi Power BI Support, I've experienced breaking visuals after using deployment pipelines to push changes from DEV/UAT to production workspaces. These errors are generally something to the effect of: "The expression referenced column DIM_Date, IsCurrentFinancialYear which does not hold any data because it needs to be recalculated or refreshed." A simple refresh of the dataset usually fixes the issue. I'd like to request a feature enhancement for Deployment Pipelines in the Power BI Service. Currently, after deploying from one stage to another (e.g., Dev → Test or Test → Prod), there is no option to automatically trigger a dataset refresh as part of the deployment process. This would be a very helpful feature, as it would ensure datasets are immediately refreshed and ready after deployment. At present, a manual refresh is required, which is often forgotten.
