Pipelines are really handy low-code ways to manage file movement, but the lack of a true Move option in a Copy activity makes pipelines incredibly CU-heavy when it comes to large numbers of files. Currently, when we generate a usage report in Power BI, we can view and analyze it within that report, but we can’t access or reuse the underlying dataset. It would be extremely useful if Power BI provided an option to connect to or reuse the dataset behind usage reports. This would allow users to integrate usage metrics (like number of viewers, report frequency, or activity trends) into their own dashboards and combine them with other organizational data. Use Case: For example, I’ve created a usage report for monitoring report access. I’d like to use that same dataset in another report to track engagement across multiple workspaces but currently, the usage data is not available as a reusable dataset. When building financial statements such as Profit & Loss reports in Power BI, it would be much easier and cleaner if the Matrix visual supported displaying hierarchy items below their children when expanded. Currently, while it’s possible to place subtotals below, this approach replaces the hierarchy label with a generic “Total” label. As a result, key financial terms (e.g., Gross Profit, Operating Income, Net Income) are displayed above their related items instead of below, which does not match standard financial reporting layouts.   Proposed improvement: Add an option in the Matrix visual to position parent (subtotal) items below their children, while retaining the original hierarchy label instead of the generic “Total.”   Benefits: Enables creation of properly formatted Profit & Loss and other financial statements without workarounds. In Power BI users today can create personal bookmarks or personalize the view of a report, but these changes are limited to their account. How great would it be if users could share their personalized view of a report, with filters, slicers, and visual changes, in context with other users who have access to the report or app? For instance, a user could explore the data, apply filters, and adjust visuals to highlight a particular insight. Then, that user could create a “shareable view” or “shared bookmark” that other users could open and optionally save as their own bookmark. Export the entire dashboard with all pages into EXCEL, similar to Power Point and PDF.  Since the dashboard will have mixed visuals like Tabular along with other visuals, and when the data set is going to be bit huge,  users will have feature to filter the data set in the excel after exporting the data.   Export the data set into excel is available only by each visuals. If i have 100 visuals overall, I have to do 100 exports and combine into excel.   Also, bursting function for a dashboard by parameter available in EXCEL format will be very helpful. I currently have Export to PDF disabled in Power BI Service because users have the ability to unselect "Exclude hidden report tabs" which would expose hidden pages that they should not be able to see. I would really like the ability in the Power BI Service Admin portal to be able to disable this checkbox so that users cannot have a way to see hidden report tabs when exporting to PDF.   ... Hello Power BI Team, I would like to request the addition of Persian (Solar Hijri) calendar support in Power BI. Currently, Power BI only supports the Gregorian calendar, which makes it very difficult for users in countries like Iran and Afghanistan, where the official and widely used calendar is the Solar Hijri (Shamsi/Jalali) calendar. Having native support for the Persian calendar in date slicers, visuals, and date formatting would greatly improve usability for a large number of users in these regions. This feature is highly important for businesses, government organizations, and educational institutions that rely on Power BI but must work with official Persian dates. For those of us developing Power BI Desktop applications designed to run locally (not from a published location) it would be very helpful to be able to assign certain actions like "Refresh" to a button on a report page. Currently, users need to find the Refresh button in the ribbon, however, assigning it to a button would make the sequence or flow of actions easier to navigate for users.    For example, I have a Power BI Desktop app where the following steps need to run in order:   1. Button for Refresh Data. (Power BI Desktop "Refresh") 2. Button for Validate Data. (Power Automate Flow that checks for problems with the data). 3. Button for Generate Text File. I m using the Power Automate visual in Power BI. When a user clicks the button, it immediately triggers the flow — but there is no check to see if the flow is already running. What I would like to achieve is: When the user clicks the button, it should be disabled until the flow completes. Once Power Automate sends back a response that the flow has finished, the button should be enabled again. We are migrating from Multidimnsional model in SSAS to power bi semantic model with direct lake approach and currently it does not display any hierarchies in the model when using xmla endpoint  or when exploring data in the browser.
