We really want to use the Azure Maps visual with a filled map layer using zip codes, then a reference layer on top with location points. However, we want certain location points in the reference layer to be visible depending on how the data is filtered.   Since the reference layer can only be a file, we can't use table connections to filter that data. This could be a bug or an idea if this is not cattered for: When uploading CSV files to Microsoft Fabric's Open Mirroring landing zone with a correctly configured _metadata.json (specifying types like datetime2 and decimal(18,2)), why are columns consistently being created as int or varchar in the mirrored database, even when the source CSV data strictly conforms to the declared types? Are there known limitations with type inference for delimited text in Open Mirroring beyond _metadata.json specifications? Are there specific, unstated requirements or known limitations for type inference and conversion from delimited text files in Fabric's Open Mirroring that go beyond the _metadata.json specification, or are there additional properties we should be using within _metadata.json to force these specific non-string/non-integer data types?   ... Good day. First point is more of an annoyance than a suggestion. Please can we have an option to disable to the auto sorting of the order of columns based on the alphabetical letters, that also includes the Tables in the data table list.  vs    Secondly. Just a heads-up for anyone struggling with blank bars in Power BI’s native visuals: If a value is null (e.g., Gross Revenue PY missing for a country), Power BI simply skips it — no bar, no label, nothing. There is no built-in setting to display null as 0 in clustered or bar charts, even if you enable “Show items with no data.”   Workaround? Use Inforiver Analytics+ (from AppSource): It includes a “Treat blanks as zero” setting and shows $0 or 0% properly — no DAX needed. The current refresh options are Weekly and Daily. A lot of my dashboards need to be updated hourly. Some need to be update every half hour.  Whilst this is possible by selecting Daily and then adding up to 48 refresh times, it is quite a horrible interface to use and takes a lot of time.  Suggest that it is much better to provide Hourly and Half-Hour options as an out-of-the-box feature. ... In a Dataflow Gen2 (CI/CD or not) that has a Data destination configured, you can hover over that and see the particulars of the destination: Workspace, Warehouse or Lakehouse, Schema, Table, and Update Method. Currently, users with Member and Contributor roles in Microsoft Fabric workspaces are allowed to freely upload files such as Excel and CSV. While this flexibility may be useful in agile environments, it poses a significant risk to data governance, especially in enterprise or regulated settings. We have a semantic model that combines the following two tables: Table A: 100,000 records Table B: 100 records When records in Table B are added or updated, we want the changes to be reflected immediately in the report visuals. However, a full semantic model refresh takes too long. ex: We would like to implement a feature where pressing a button in the report triggers an immediate refresh of only Table B, and the report visuals are updated accordingly.
