A full circle gauge visual would be a great feature to add and will remove reliance on custom visuals (see attached) to achieve the desired chart. A simple change to the current Gauge visual to allow customisation of the shape i.e semi circle or full circle would work to avoid cluttering the exisitng build panel. It would also be great to have the option to build a data label and sub label into the centre of the gauge as shown below.

Context: We have a product that deploys Synapse and 101 other PaaS services as a Managed Azure Application into the customer's tenant from the Marketplace. We are about to release the new rebuilt version based on Fabric. However, Fabric has no IP protection when running as a PRODUCT (ie. managed by Vendor, capacity paid for by Customer). The closest to this is the Fabric Workload, which allows marketplace deployment but you have 2 options: As the Vendor, run your Fabric in your own tenancy and the Workload in the Customer tenancy, however this means you as the vendor have to pay for compute. You could also deploy your Fabric IP into the customers tenancy (With the Workload frontend) so that the Customer pays for the compute (which means you can do Trials more cost efficiently and makes running the product much simpler commecrially, plus drives Customer Fabric workload KPIS as an MS partner). HOWEVER - in this model the Admin of the Customer Tenancy would always be able to dig in your Fabric notebooks/pipelines (your product IP). We need something like RBAC Deny at the Fabric Workspace level so that Vendors can build MArketplace Fabric solutions and deploy into Customers with IP protection....

Hi, I’m experiencing an issue with the Microsoft Gantt custom visual in Power BI. Current scenario: - In Power BI Desktop, the available version of the Gantt visual is 3.0.12.0 - However, the latest version released is 3.4.5.0 - I am using the Microsoft Gantt visual imported into my report Issue description: In Power BI Desktop: - The visual respects the alphabetical sorting of my “Berth” field (ship berth name) - Everything renders correctly In Power BI Service: - The sorting is not respected anymore (it appears unsorted or differently sorted) - The visual quality (resolution/sharpness) is noticeably worse Steps: 1. Sort the visual by berth name (alphabetical) 2. Publish to Power BI Service 3. Open the report → sorting breaks and rendering degrades Expected behavior: - Sorting should be consistent between Desktop and Service - Rendering quality should remain the same Additional notes: - This seems related to differences in visual versions between environments - I can provide screenshots showing the discrepancy Has anyone experienced this? Is there a known limitation or workaround? Thanks.

Problem Statement Today, Microsoft Dataverse does not support first‑class incremental or CDC‑based ingestion when used as a source in Microsoft Fabric Copy Data / Data Factory Pipelines / CRM Dynamics. Customers are forced to rely on: Full reloads Custom watermark logic Fabric Link as a workaround (when available) This creates operational risk, unnecessary load on Dataverse, and limits enterprise adoption of Fabric as the analytics platform for Dataverse‑backed systems (Dynamics 365, Power Platform). Why This Is a Gap Dataverse is a core Microsoft operational data platform, yet Fabric currently treats it as a basic extract source, unlike Azure SQL, SQL Server, or other CDC‑enabled systems. Key limitations today: No native change tracking / CDC toggle in Copy Data for Dataverse No built‑in handling of inserts, updates, and deletes No standardized way to maintain incremental sync state Inconsistent architectures across customers (watermarks, custom APIs, Fabric Link dependency) This is misaligned with Fabric’s stated goal of being the single analytics platform for Microsoft‑first data estates. Proposal / Requested Capability Introduce native incremental + CDC‑style support for Dataverse within Fabric Copy Data and Pipelines, comparable to SQL‑based sources.

In a Fabric Workspace App there are two features that would be useful to apply also to Org Apps. 1. In the Workspace app, the general navigation pane on the left side of the screen is hidden. This creates a cleaner look for the users, especially executive users who do not have a need to navigate to any of the apps/forms that are listed there. It would be helpful to have an option in the Org App configuration to also hide that general navigation pane. I know that there is a Focus mode icon on the Fabric toolbar that users can click to hide the nagivation pane, but it requires user action and is not persistent. 2. The Org App does not expose the personal bookmarks icon in PowerBI reports that are included in the Org App. This would be very helpful for users that want to save specific views of the report for their own use. The bookmark icon does appear for the same report if it is included in a Workspace App. Please make that available in the Org App as well. Thank you for your consideration 😊

I would like to suggest additional formatting features for constant lines. Since these are lines that can be used to highlight or call out certain data points, it would seem fitting to add more such as expanding the features of data labels (having backgrounds on those labels, font sizes and types, etc.) or being able to change the line, markers, being able to use icons, conditional formatting etc. In addition, I want to be able to apply the formatting to ALL or individual constant lines. With being inthe branch for a few months, i notice a lot of times RSs are not pulling the member in when they meet with them. I suggest for other users,especially leaders to have a button to assign the member to the rep that is assisting the member. This will help mitigate always asking the RS to pull the member out of lobby tracker thus creating a better exoerience and not provide inaccurate wait times and handle times. I think there should be a option to also wrap up the member in the event the team member forgets. Thanks

DBT jobs in pipelines can now directly pull their code from Github. This should be extended to also be able to pull from AzureDevops. I wouldn't be surprised if the GitHub connector would already be suitable for that and it's just the "is this a valid Github link" check that disables the "Next" button which needs to be adjusted.

At the moment there is no way to dynamically set the target of my DBT job in a data pipeline, making it impossible to integrate with our Dev / Test / Prod Data workspaces. The DBT job in pipelines should allow target as an additional parameter.

Hi, please update the formatting options—such as color, bold, italic, themes, font sizes, alignment, and other basic formatting—so they are available directly on right-click within the visual field. Currently, we have to search for these options in the Visuals panel. If this improvement is implemented, you can gift me a reward of as a $5,000 reward, as it would be extremely helpful for me in many ways.

Please include the consult # when pulling the details under the Telehealth Choice Dashboard- "Request for New Services Cascading Denominators" section. Drill down to specific consults for resolution is impossible w/o exact consult number. Consult SID is not sufficient.

Hello Team, We would like to bring to your attention a current limitation regarding connectivity to Azure Analysis Services (AAS). As referenced in the Microsoft documentation for the Azure Analysis Services connector in Power Query, the On-premises Data Gateway cannot be used to connect to Azure Analysis Services. Power Query Azure Analysis Services database connector - Power Query | Microsoft Learn While the Cloud data gateway can currently be used as an alternative, the customer's requirement is to route communication through a private network for security and compliance reasons. At present, this scenario cannot be achieved because Azure Analysis Services is also not supported with the Virtual Network (VNet) data gateway, as indicated in the available documentation. Given this limitation, there is currently no supported option that allows customers to connect to Azure Analysis Services from Power BI/Fabric through a private network using a gateway. Therefore, we would like to share this as feedback for the Product Group’s consideration and kindly request that support for Azure Analysis Services connectivity via the VNet Data Gateway (or an equivalent private network solution) be evaluated for potential inclusion in future product enhancements.

Problem Dataflow Gen2 currently supports only CSV/delimited text formats for file-based destinations such as Lakehouse Files. This is a significant limitation when working with nested OData sources, where nested navigation properties cannot be preserved in CSV format. In our use case, we are ingesting data from an on-premises OData API via an on-premises data gateway into Microsoft Fabric. The OData source contains nested tables/entities. These nested structures are visible and expandable within the Dataflow Gen2 Power Query editor, confirming that the connector can access the data. However there is no viable destination format to land this data in its raw nested form. Current Behaviour Dataflow Gen2 file destinations support delimited text only Nested columns are dropped or nulled when writing to Lakehouse Delta tables Full expansion within Power Query works for small volumes but times out at scale when using an on-premises data gateway due to sequential API calls per navigation property JSON and Parquet destinations are not available in Dataflow Gen2 Expected Behaviour Dataflow Gen2 should support JSON and/or Parquet as file destination formats for Lakehouse Files This would allow nested OData structures to be preserved as raw files in the Lakehouse A Fabric notebook could then handle flattening and transformation into Delta tables This is a standard medallion architecture pattern, raw nested landing in Bronze, flattening in Silver. which is currently not achievable end-to-end within Fabric alone.

I have opened INC1139763 for the issue of not having a downloadable ICV trend history by modality and the case was closed as a new functionality change request. We can access to a single or a short PN list ICV change history but I found no solution to extract one modality ICV trend history. While this was possible one month ago (in march). For me it is a regression, for the support team it is a functionality change… Example for “IGS = Mod Modality Desc”: When I filter, note says 29166 lines out of 2305634 are selected. When I export “Raw Data – ICV trend” where I expect to have all ICV update history from Aug ’22 for IGS modality, I get a file with 150003 lines with "Exported data exceeded the allowed volume. Some data may have been omitted" and only April 7th and 4th change history. The table “Raw Data – UCV Updates” get updated based on my modality filter” (and I get 29166 lines) but the “Raw Data – ICV trend” does not. “Raw Data – ICV trend” works only on a single PN. The export data of “Raw Data – ICV Update” says “Applied filters: Mod Modality Desc is IGS Item Number is D2802A”, unclear why the Item number is mentioned as it is not applied to that filter And I found no way to get an ICV trend based on the filter (Modality = IGS) chosen in up right corner. The modality filter is not applied although it is mentioned in the export file. Best regards.

I'd like to have the ability to customize apps more like webites with low-code/no-code experiences. App customizations can include various drag and drop compents that can customize the web experience much like a Sharepoint site. Example compnents can include, but not limited to: Carousel: Choose featured reports to have: https://component.gallery/components/carousel/ Tree View: The current APP experience is semi-tree view, but can only group into sections. There are numerous requests, questions, and asks for subsections for Apps [1]. This capability would need to be expanded. https://component.gallery/components/tree-view/ Tabs: Tabs, mega menus, and other menu-adjacent options to allow custom navigation experiences to APP content. https://component.gallery/components/tabs/ Cards: Have cards that can be clicked to open a report that include text, KPIs, and other details important to the report. https://component.gallery/components/card/ Dropdown Menu: Have ability to create custom drop down menus to select reports from tabs (see tabs above). https://component.gallery/components/dropdown-menu/ Hero: While some developers might want to feature a few reports in a carosuel, alternatively, some developers might want to feature a single report at the top of the App Page.
