Created a dashboard that shows in depth activity for a specified period (currently the present month). Also have a line chart showing year over year activity by month. Wanted to allow the user to choose a date period of indepth activity, but if I let them choose the month, the x-axis (month) also filters to the month and there is no way to prevent this. All functions (ALL () , ALLSELECTED () , etc) only pertain to the calculated value but the axis remains filtered to the months selected. Would appreciate an option that would disconnect a chart axis from a slicer and then request the user to write a measure that respects or ignores the slicer filter context. Thanks! ... View more

Lets say that I am showing a bar chart of month wise sales and a map alongside showing country wise sales. When I click on a country the bar chart shows the highlighted portion as the values for the selected country, and the non-highlighted portion as the total sale. While this is a good feature to have, I also need a functionality by which I see only the values of the highlighted country, and dont see the total values. The slicers work amazingly on the Dashboards on PC now. However they do not work on the iPad. You need to Pin the whole page to get Slicers to work to begin with. On the iPad any click will put you in the report and in the report they are single select! You also lose the possibility of bringing up each Chart separately and being able to move a line and see the values like when each chart is pinned separately. Being able to pin a page with slicers is a huge step forward but the iPad issue needs to be fixed as many executives will only look at these dashboards on their iPads ... View more
