Currently Slicer are effective only in the tab they're placed. It will be very useful if slicer can be configured to attached different tables/visuals (Just like in excel slicer can be attach to specific pivots). If configuration is not possible then allow one slicer to filter data for all the tabs. This is a good work around as Drill down/Drill through idea has been declined. ... View more

But it’s not aggregating the data (key figures) based on the key (dimensions) value. When Calendar columns are involved (potentially detected when relationship is based on a Date column) then for any column shown in Q&A the default sort should be chronological. Look at the screenshot in the linked screenshot. The default "Budget by Month" shows a column chart, sorted descending by Budget. It should be sorted by Month. Q&A seems to be considering hidden columns as well. (screenshot at the end) It would be highly preferred, if either > Hidden columns are not considered in Q&A > Authors given ability to exclude hidden columns (or perhaps even other columns) from Q&A. This can possibly be exposed via the Synonyms pane. Currently = the synonyms pane, does not let me delete the column name itself. For this example, let's say you have created a conditional column titled "revenue type" and now want to add an additional conditional column as the next step in your query settings. You click "Conditional Column" to create a new conditional column. The result in Power BI Desktop is that it brings up the settings for "revenue type" instead of a dialogue box for a new conditional column. The work-around for now is to go to a column that is not conditional and then add the conditional column by inserting a new step. I have tried and am aware that Real-time dashboards are not available in Power BI, but an auto refresh takes of a live connection place in 10-15 minutes window. Created a report in Power BI Desktop with a Dynamic Date filter defined in Query Editor filtering the data for Today (tried on May 5th). Published the report to Power BI Service, and pinned the report to a dashboard. The connection is live connection and the tiles are refreshed in intervals. But the issue is the refresh is not bringing Today's(May 10th) Data but the May 5th Data is only shown in the tiles. Ideally, it should bring today's data (as the filter is defined as Today in Query Editor) from a live Data Source. But the data at the time the report was published is shown. It seems when the report is published, it stores the static value(May 5th) in the Power BI Service instead of Today defined in Query Editor. ... View more
