Service Principles do not work to connect to SharePoint list data within Power BI and Fabric. They will connect do other data, such as documents just fine. Essentially make an MCP connection between the UDFs and the data agents so that we can execute custom analysis with a high dimensional input space on the fly through an AI chatbot.   Doing this on our own currently would require that we spin up our own MCP server and handle all of the oauth and everything ourselves with an app registration. That is a lot of complication for what should be a highly intuitive feature.   Of course, this would enable writeback through the AI chatbot, so you'll probably want to put in some sort of mcp decorator in the udf that flags when writeback happens through a given path so that the chatbot can recognize this and promp the user with a y/n to write the results to a given db/table.  ... As a Fabric Administrator I would like to regain full control over Fabric platform which for now, in my opinion, is not in place.   Currently, for some tenant settings Capacity Admins are able to 'take over' global admin role and overwrite setting on the capacity level changing the way platform is planned to be developed. This can lead to unexpected usage of the platform resources as well as creation of unwated solutions when no proper oversight is applied.    In that matter why even to bother and display such feature to admin if I can't even do anything about it? It is strange to me as a global admin I can't edit something in the platform settings but someone with lower priviliges can. If some users wish to have that freedom - fine leave it as an option. When multiple users collaborate on the same report in Power BI Service, there is currently a limitation in how updates are reflected across sessions. For example, if three people are working on the same report and one person makes changes and saves the file, those updates are not immediately visible to the other collaborators. Today the Fabric auto ML does not allow text fields as input columns, at least those will not be processed and visible in the final model when using the wizard to create notebook with reading data and training a model. The current Advanced Editor in Power Query is very basic and can be restrictive for frequent users. It would be extremely helpful to introduce advanced text-editing capabilities such as: Find & Replace (including replace all across queries) Syntax highlighting for better readability Enhanced formatting options Annotations or tagging beyond simple step hints (e.g., ability to highlight, add notes, or mark important sections) These improvements would significantly speed up workflows, especially when handling multiple query steps or adjusting column headers. Suggestion for Power BI: It would be very useful to enable column-level tooltips in tables and matrices. Currently, tooltips apply to the entire table or matrix, which limits customization. In several projects, this has been a limitation for me, because I don’t want to show additional information in every column only in the ones where it truly matters. Rather than having to select a number of days/months/years for the forecast, I would rather have a variable end date based on my fiscal year end.   If I set the forecast unit as 1 year, the Y axis gets skewed if there is only 2 months left in the fiscal year.
