Currently when you publish a report, all the filters get displayed. Also it becomes a little chaotic between visual filters, page filters, and report filters. It would be great if the Filters panel on the Service, showed me the filters that I want to display on the report. That way I can maybe setup a report showing on 2016 calendar year, as the default, but I don't want the user to have to try and change it (as it wont be valid) or be able to see it anyways. In power BI when you load data from the query editor to the data tables in the desktop, you should be able to filter those tables. For example I return 100K rows and write a DAX measure to calculate a value for multiple segments in the dataset. If the measure is off for one of those segments I need to scroll though the data before I can see why the measure is incorrect as opposed to filtering the data to view why the measure might be incorrect.
