When a PowerBI dashboard is published to PowerBI.com using a static data (non refreshed cached data set) and online content, it still complains that a refresh cannot be executed because there is an on prem data resource. This error message should only be displayed if the refresh is set to ON for local/on prem data source and should not be displayed when trying to use the data as a static cache. Power query natively selects all data from the odata feed, and allow you to filter or select columns after having retrieved the data. This takes for ages to pull data to power BI. I suggest a feature change to allow the field and filter selection to be applied in the odata feed using the "somethingSet?$select=Field1,Field2.....
