When creating a table, there should be an option to show the count of records in the total line.   For example, if I have a table with the columns: Staff Name Department Salary While I can already show the SUM() of the salaries in the total line of the report under the "Salary" column, there is not a way for me to show the Staff count in the total line under the Staff Name column.  If I use the COUNT or COUNT_DISDINCT summary functions, if turns these text fields into numbers.   We should not have to add a columns of 1's to show a total for the number of records displayed in the table.  Life should be easier. ... We've set up several dynamic subscriptions for our sales reports. They're great - but it's a bit frustrating that the link in the email doesn't connect to a filtered report to match the image in the subscription. We've instructed our team to use a bookmark once they open the link, but it's not ideal.  While the report would match via the link if we instigated RLS - our users do often need to see data that's not relevant to this specific subscription filter requirement, so RLS isn't an option for us here. in PowerBI it is possible to push a filter on a report via hyperlink such as: experience=power-bi&filter=Product_Info%2FProduct_Code%20eq%20%27187943%20D%27   however once you enter report via such link, the reset button (the one near copilot button) is not available by default. you need to manually change something in the report (e.g. navigate somewhere, click on some other bookmark), for that button to appear.   Once button appears and is clicked on - > it correctly removes the filter from the hyperlink and brings user to the default report view.   However i think this reset option should be available rightaway if the report is being accessed via link which has a filter inside.  ... Even though a data agent may not need to work on data from any particular data lake. In fact, a data agent can work on data merely from a SQL database or mirrored database or from another data lake.    Why not make Data Agent an item on the "New Item" menu? Users may add data sources for the agent to work on at configuration. In our work environment, we need to export Power BI reports in CSV or TXT format directly from Power Automate, in order to integrate them with other applications running inside our gateway server. Currently, the "Export to File for Power BI Reports" connector only supports PDF, PNG, and PPTX formats, which limits automation for processes that rely on flat files. It would be extremely helpful if Microsoft enabled support for exporting tabular reports in formats like CSV or TXT, especially for scheduled flows that run daily and feed external systems. It would be great to get the option to pick what parts of the Performance Analyzer results to display.   Often times only the DAX and DirectQuery timings are of interest, other times maybe only the wait times for visual rendering are interesting.   Today one has to manually expand all refreshed visuals and look for the specific duration metric under each visual.   I know we now have the option to export the results so that the filtering could be done outside of Power BI but that would not be needed if filtering was made available directly in the result pane.  ... In Power BI Table visuals, Web URL conditional formatting does not apply to rows that are rendered solely due to the "Show items with no data" option. If any measure (implicit or explicit) is used and all measures on a row are blank, the row is displayed, but the URL formatting is ignored—as if the row didn’t exist. This happens regardless of whether the URL is defined as a column or a measure.   This appears to be a long-standing bug in the conditional formatting. Hello, I am plotting a line graph with a live connection and my X-axis is Month-Year (MMM-YYYY format) and have some values to show on the Y-axis. Now the challenge is to sort the X-axis in a choronologial order meaning sort the X-axis in ascending order by Month-Year which typically sort in alphabetical order but onr chronological order .. To achieve this I have used Month (a integer value) placed in the tool tip of the visual and sorted the X-axis in ascending by Month and everything is as expected but the need is we do not need to show Month in the tool tip when we hover on the line graph. If we remove Month from tool tip again we encounter the same problem of sorting in an alphabetical order.   My Thought - Can we introduce check boxes for the tool tip section so that what ever we need to show as tool tip when ever hovering on a visual those tips can be checked and unwanted tips can be unchecked ..    Reference image below where we dont want to show Month in the tool tip when ever we hover on the visual. but, it needed in the tool tip section of the visual ...    Post your workarounds or comments on this .. Currently it is only possible to add Tables from Lake- and Warehouses to an Semantic Model within PowerBI Web. We need to extend this by Eventhouses and an possibility to edit the KQL Queries afterwards.   The only existing workaround is to create the Semantic Model with PowerBI Desktop and publish it to Fabric. I believe it would be highly beneficial to enable the use of user-defined calendars within slicers on the dashboard. While the new time intelligence functions integrate seamlessly with these calendars, there's currently a limitation when it comes to incorporating them into dashboard development. My goal is to allow users to dynamically select their preferred calendar by adding all user-defined calendars to a field parameter or slicer on the page.
