It is currently possible to embed visuals from a Power BI report in PowerPoint. We would like to have the same capability for Scorecards. The KPIs tracked by our VPs and directors are presented in PowerPoint. We would like to centralise these KPIs using the Scorecards tool offered directly, but it is currently not possible to embed goals from the Scorecard in PowerPoint, which makes the adoption of the Scorecard tool slower and more difficult. I have a workspace in my environment called "DataSources" with a number of lakehouses in it that use shortcuts to provide linkage (and Workspace Identity based access) to ADLS locations.  This works really well, and makes it very simple for my analysts to find the data they need. I have some upstream data providers that are now also exposing data via Lakehouses themselves, and it would be nice to be able to create a "Lakehouse Shortcut" inside the DataSources workspace that just redirects to the Lakehouse in their environment (instead of building my own lakehouse and creating shortcuts to their lakehouse tables).  This would make it so that I can provide a single location for my analysts to go to access/consume "blessed" datasets. ... Currently when a user clicks 'New Item' button in a workspace they see 30+ Fabric items that they can create. From a usability perspective, business analysts for example who only have been working solely in Power BI and will not use additional Fabric workloads would prefer to see only Power BI relevant items in the list of all the items they can create in their workspace. Can the admins of a workspace be given the ability to control which new items are available to the workspace users to create?   This could be applied for different teams, where a Data Warehousing team admin as another example can control items that can be created in a workspace by the developers, like data pipeline, lakehouse, warehouse, etc. If a data science team decides to collaborate in the same workspace, the workspace admin can then add additional items like ML Model and Experiment that are allowed to be created in the workspace. By default the workspace can show all the items, when a new workspace is created. But the ability to control the items available for creation in a workspace will provide flexibility and choice to offer better user experience to the developers of that workspace with specific skills or personas. Fabric is constantly adding items for different workloads, and some users might appreciate a more controlled experience in their workspace created for a specific purpose, compared to seeing the growing list of items that they do not intend to use. ... Hello Community,     We are encountering an issue with the slicer when using a hierarchy containing multiple columns. When a parent item (e.g., Country 1) is selected, all of its child items are automatically selected by default. However, to view data corresponding only to the parent item, we have to manually deselect the child items. Is there a way to change this behavior? Most users want to detect Fabric and Power BI items in the tenant which are not used for long time.  There are ways that it can be checked by Admin Monitoring feature and Power BI Rest APIs.  However, admin monitoring is limited to 30 days data and using Power BI Rest API requires the user to do manual work casuing human mistake. All of our reports have an "Information" page that describes the report in detail and provides tips on how to use it.  Our reports also have a hidden "Developer Notes" page that provides documentation helpful to any future developer tasked with refining the report.    At present we are reduced to inserting a single text box visualization and typing all of our documenation there. This control is woefully unsuited for long documents. There are formatting errors and inconsistencies everywhere. You can't paste text in from a word processor as the formatting gets utterly mangled. It would be wonderful to have a means to embed another document into the report. (Remember OLE?) That way I can write my documentation in Word, optionally export that to PDF, and then embed the resulting document in the report page with formatting intact.  The option to link to an existing document on the LAN would also be very helpful; that way a developer could update the document without having to republish the report. ...
