Dear Microsoft Team, I’d like to suggest a feature enhancement for your dashboard functionality.   Currently, reports offer convenient export options (e.g., to PowerPoint, PDF, etc.), which are extremely useful for sharing and offline analysis. However, dashboards do not appear to have a similar export capability. As a Fabric Admin, we noticed there are restrictions when it comes to accessing cloud connections throughout our Microsoft Fabric environment. Currently the explorer section of the warehouse has a min-width of 200px hardcoded via css. Currently, when sharing a report from a workspace in Power BI, the default option shown is: "People in your organization with the link can view and share." Even if I change this to "Specific people", enter the intended recipients, and apply the changes, the next time I click the Share button, it reverts back to the default "People in your organization" option. This can be misleading and may result in unintentionally broader access if the user forgets to reselect "Specific people."   Please consider enhancing the Share dialog to: Remember the last selected sharing option (e.g., "Specific people") for that report or user session. Or allow users to set a default sharing preference at the report or workspace level. Provide a clearer indication of the current sharing scope to avoid accidental oversharing. There is no option to specify the timeout on an Invoke Pipeline activity.  Please consider adding the option for both the Legacy and Preview activities.  Currently it seems to default to the max 7 days.  We had a job that was running the full 7 days in the background without a failure until it reached 7 days.  The timeout error was this: "The workflow action 'ExecuteINVOKE PipelineName' timed out while waiting for webhook callback." ... We are from Ford Power BI Tenant Admin Team and we are trying to extract Usage Metrics of Workspaces, Users, Items, Capacities, Refreshes and etc. that are managed by our team. We have few specific KPIs/Metrics we are looking at and to get them we explored both Feature Usage/Adoption and Content Sharing Dashboards. Attached in the Excel Screenshot are our Findings. For each KPI/Metric, we have put our expectation/requirement and also mentioned what we saw as a limitation in getting what we actually want. We have opened a case with Microsoft with TrackingID#2508120040003141 and we were asked to post an Idea on this portal. We would like to know: If there is an easy way in extracting Metrics from existing Admin Monitoring Dashboards? It requires us to put filters each time we navigate between visuals within same report. If there are more filter options on more fields(Dimensions/Measures) would help us extract reports with granular detail. The timeframe is also limited and we cannot set filters on that - another problem. When you set a default value for a parameter inside the Dataflow, the engine just uses that value at runtime without trying to override it.  Passing in a different value at runtime means the pipeline activity has to override the parameter. In the current Gen2 with CI/CD preview, the parameter override binding isn’t fully implemented — so: The activity accepts the parameter definition. But when you pass a new value, it either ignores it or fails, falling back to the default Right now, Gen2 CI/CD parameters are more like constants with optional defaults, not fully dynamic variables you can swap out at run time. ... It would be beneficial to incorporate features from Pivot tables that allow for the expansion and collapse of columns and hierarchical column groups within tabular visuals. The Copy Activity has the Upsert option that is currently in preview (Fabric). I found that it has 2 bugs: Dynamic destination: If you try and use this, it results in no updates happening. I logged a support ticket for this, and it was agreed that setting dynamic destination is buggy and not functional at all. Mapping only a few columns from source to destination results in the non-mapped columns all being set to NULL. Because of the Proxy authenication issue (currently Onelake explorer does NOT support proxy autheniciation via Kerberos/ NTLM), it is not possible to use Onelake within company network environment, in where the Proxy is used for accessing Internet.   And i believe many many Corp.s have this setup, So if this idea could be realized, it will be benefit lots of Fabric users.   ...
