I would like to suggest enhancements to the free Gantt Chart visual in Power BI to better support real-world project tracking and resource planning needs. Currently, the visual lacks some key features that are frequently requested by users: Flexibility to use separate rows for different types of events (e.g., statuses vs. failures), without requiring all data to be merged into a single table. A multi-row view for resource planning, allowing multiple tasks or events to be visualized per resource. The ability to correctly display failure events at their actual dates, rather than at the start of a status. Support for a dedicated Milestones field to represent critical events such as failures or deadlines. Improved performance and rendering when working with large datasets. I’ve noticed that these features are already available in the PowerGantt Chart visual by Nova Silva, which is a paid solution. Are there any plans for Microsoft to acquire or integrate this visual into the native Power BI visuals? Or is there a roadmap to include similar capabilities in the free Gantt Chart visual? Right now if I create a semantic model in import mode then publish it to Fabric, I have to manually change the connection.  Ideally, this would not happen, but if it must, then please allow me to reuse an existing connection instead of FORCING me to create a new connection for each semanitc model; that is idiotic.  The options below are the only ones available (Default - which doesn't even work, and "Create a connection").  I would propose that we should be able to select an existing connection that already exists in Fabric. I think it would be great to allow us to control the visibilty of items based on formulas.  Basically data driven bookmarks.  This would allow a new level of functionality.  Let's say for example I have a viz that I only want shown if a metric in the report dips below a certain threshold.  It would be great to be able to have a formula that evaluates to true/false and control the visibility of items on the page with this formula. ... It would be beneficial to incorporate features from Pivot tables that allow for the expansion and collapse of columns and hierarchical column groups within tabular visuals. Many users are currently experiencing an issue in Power BI Desktop where imported custom visuals are not being retained after closing and reopening the application. The visuals disappear, requiring users to re-import them each time. I have geography data in a WKT text string format in some of my dimension tables.  It would be ideal to use that geography data directly from a semantic model and have them be rendered on a map.  For example, we have a concept of a sub-county which we make by melting groups of zip codes to form a single polygon per sub-county.  I have the WKT polygon data stored as text in a delta table.  I would like to be able to create the model relationships as I normally do, classify the data as a "geography" type (could be polygon, multi-polygon, point, or line) but render the polygons directly from the semantic model instead of or in addition to the reference layers.  The older version of Icon Map allowed this functionality and it was very fast as well! ...
