gateway down/offline notification

It would be very helpful if the Power BI service could provide some notification when any gateways is down or offline. Via email notification to the gateway administrators and/or a notification to the notification center in the Power BI service. This would help gateway administrators identify unexpected outages due to gateway problems and restart it in time.

As an administrator with many nodes in a cluster , this functionality will really help to act immediately on the issue .

Hope MS will look at this functionality and provide a way to configure the gateways for failure notifications.

Yes. Definitely it would be very helpful if we get notification when the Power BI Data Gateway service goes down. The notification with date, time and error description would be very helpful. So we can device future occurrences' strategy.

Is there any progress on this? Rescheduling reports every time it goes offline is a real waste of time.
