freeze column in a table chart

It'd be great to be able to freeze a left hand column in a table so users can scroll and keep track of what row they're looking at

Feature would be very handy when a large number of columns are present

I need to be able to freeze the first two columns of my tables! Please raise the availability of this feature to your priorities

Scrolling is inevitable, without the ability to freeze first N columns, tables are hard to use

While matrix visuals have this feature (to freeze some of the columns), some people just want tabular data that they can sort without any hierarchy, but have more columns than fit in the width of the screen. Being able to freeze some of the columns on a table visual would be very helpful.

Some tables can be wide, not because we, the designers, want them to be, but the consumers ask for it. These same consumers are used to the freeze columns in Excel and it would be really great to be able to do the same in Power BI.

Would be good if the Power BI team takes a little pause and just looks at all the little features like these and clear them off before moving to flashier items. Sometimes a well-designed table of values can provide way more insight that any visualization and freeze columns is a must-have functionality in a table visual. In column filters would be another one.

Given the issues with screen space in Power BI, this is essential - we have lots of long text strings in tables, and the lack of being able to freeze the left most columns is a major hold-up in moving people off other tools.

Not replicating very basic, intuitive Excel functions into PowerBI tables is such a shortcoming.
