How can you close this when there is still NO export to PDF option ? File>Print is NOT a solution. You need to realise that many government institutions will not adopt PowerBI until there is an export to PDF function. Why ? Because PDF's are required for senior managment. People only want to export a dashboard or report, NOT the entire contents of the page.

Our senior leadership inquired about this feature today. Export to PowerPoint is in PowerView, and while it's not an ideal solution it was something and they got use to it. Please add similar and improved functionality to PowerBI, specifically export to PDF.

recently we used power bi for one project and for surprise, I didn't find a scheduler feature to accept report parameter for schedule run and to select type of output format generated from schedule. This makes power-bi just enhanced product of excel on share-point with little to do with report generation in automation. Please let me know anyone has found any workaround for these features in power bi.

Power BI is an intuitive piece of software and it has sufficient power for a user without a specific BI/database literacy. Although, there are some things which would make it better. Printing towards .pdf and export to .docx, .ppt is a go.

an option to export to pdf would be nice,i thought it was common sense to add such option to a software like powerBI, but i was wrong. But PowerBI is awesome, i love the option to write an R script, the person who came up with the idea of using R within Powerbi deserves a salary raise. The dashboards are nice, but whats the point if i cant include them in my pdfs or presentations?
