Hi Will, cool that you responded to the suggestion. I general I think that Power BI is still to weak in regards of exporting stuff (either PDF, Excel, details view etc.). Please keep up the good work and make us happy for christmas! 🙂

I have been using Power BI Desktop now in analyzing an industry and I am to produce a book out of it. Copy-pasting into Power Point makes my visuals and my whole work to lose its beauty. PLEASE add a PDF/PPT. Please make it soon.

If this is going to make it to the coming soon list can I request that as well as a simple export to ppt, doc or xls that there is an ability to save a template first that would be applied when exporting in order to apply corporate branding / theme etc.

Great feature! 🙂 Thanks! When will we be able to SAVE AS a pdf, excel, or word document? To have an electronic copy?

The current release of this feature is a step in the right direction, but definitely requires enhanced functionality to be useful. The functionality I'm envisioning would be similar to a double click on an excel pivot table where you are able to see the underlying data set in detail rather than a pre-aggregated data set with no extra detail. This could serve as a much more powerful version of drill down than is available within power BI itself.
