edit option disabled for shared excel tiles on One Drive Business

I have a dashboard with tiles from Excel files in One Drive Business. I have given "Can Edit" privileges to users. I am able to click on the tile and then select edit in Excel Online. However, when the users click on the tile, they can view the excel sheet but the edit option is disabled. I will really appreciate any help in this matter.
