documentation

A great feature would be the ability to auto generate documentation on how the reports and dashboards are created. Provide information on Data Sources, Tables, Relationships, Measures, Calculated columns, how Visuals are structured, Publishing location, Etc

This is an excellent ideal - fully agree a method to capture at least the tables / fields and alias names assigned would save heaps of time especially when starting a new data model and capturing consumer feedback with data dictionary settings / determining hidden / visible fields and also seeing relationships - the start of success with this tool is making sure the data model is good!

Great idea and almost mandatory. Since all components (Data Sources, Tables, Relationships, Measures, etc, etc) are already defined in PBI, exporting them in a user friendly way should not be complicated. Tools like DAX Studio helps to document, but it would be great to have the documentation option inside PBI.

Also information about audiences, roles, permissions/visibility would be useful

Links to where pbix files are stored - useful for Dataflows as well

Purpose / details of any user stories

Refresh details - really useful would be knowing if it is triggered by a Power Flow instead of scheduled

debug instructions

key stakeholders

Other random metadata & business info
