dashboard drill through

i want to be able to drill through in the dashboard view and not having to go to the report view i have to turn on the drill through every time i leave the report page, it would be better if it stayed on and if i could manually put it off if i don't need it.

This is really a missing function. The dashboard is the main means of sharing with the 'masses' and then there is no drill through! We use dashboards as the way for information to be shared in studied in depth. but without drillthrough, it becomes somewhat more difficult.
