dashboard drill through

i want to be able to drill through in the dashboard view and not having to go to the report view i have to turn on the drill through every time i leave the report page, it would be better if it stayed on and if i could manually put it off if i don't need it.

Really, so much time of mine has been wasted on creating drill thrus in report.. now nothing works on the final product.. i.e. DASHBOARD.. what is the purpose of this tool???? better to use excel visualizations if no drill thru works.. same thing..

I dont understand why this feature wasnt added in the alpha version. Whats the point of the drillthrough if you can't have it on the dashboard
