The ability, to write own functions in the query editor is currently very underutilized, although it could help many people to build queries faster and in a better quality. And although M-Extensions provide a good way to make these functions available (see here for example: https://www.thebiccountant.com/2017/10/06/create-a-function-library-in-power-bi-using-m-extensions/) , for the less experienced users this doesn't really help much. Customizable ribbons, like we have in Excel for VBA currently, would make useful functions available to less experienced users for use just by clicking with the mouse.
