this is paramount!! Shocked its not a part of it yet. I wouldve bought power bi today had this been possible, however, now I have to buy a different product.

You need to add this ability on individual columns and rows. It is useful to add funcionality for the whole table, but to compete with other BI products you really need a column and row level of detail.

Mandatory to say the least. All of the basic, analytic functionality of Excel should be in Power BI by default.

Impactful Individual
Colour by Columns & Rows, OR at the very least, allow us to have grid lines. The Power BI Matrix is sore on the eyes when you look at a large data set. I just want to know which row a value belongs to without getting a headache.

Hi, lack of this feature alone could make it hard to sell power BI based dashboard solution to teams. It will be great if you can prioritize and address this soon

An option should ideally be able to color the individual intersections in a matrix by the values in a separate field. E.g. For high priority intersections, mark the cell background Red, for low mark it yellow, high mark orange, etc.

This needs to be done now. How can this still be in the planning stage?
