I need to have the possibility to add conditional formatting in Matrix chart as we can do in Cross table in Excel. Thanks

- nishalitNew MemberWe've added support for conditional formatting on the matrix visual in the November release of Power BI Desktop. To learn more, check out our blog post: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-november-feature-summary/
- JUSANGNew MemberI have the same requirement. For each cell in matrix, I can format it by condition like we do in excel pivot table.

Would be great if this is available for Multi-row card. There should be an option for coloring the bar base on a field's value. - mikejarodNew MemberKim said: "Conditional formatting is already available on the table visual" That's entirely true, but only per (1) column and that column must have an aggregration/summarization (sum avg etc). It does not work for "do not summarize" values. It should also be possible to format an entire row in a table based on the value of 1 cell / column. Tables and matrices should behave almost identical whenever possible.
- jschlereth21New MemberYes, a heat map (conditional formatting) component in the matrix table would be great.
- ckhachatrianNew MemberThat'll be great. Can't wait to see this happen in matrices as well. Our report consumers just love the conditional formatting in the table grid but we would be better served with a matrix. Thank you
- vincent_j_kokNew MemberKim Are you also adding the option to make a risk matrix? With colloring options? Green for low impact and low risk to red for high impact and high risk? That would be great!
- fbcideas_migusrNew MemberThis is a good idea, although again much of what is going on here seems to be bringing Power BI in line with Excel - or rather with a baseline set of features people use in Excel. At some point I hope it occurs to someone that convergence may make more sense than duplication.

We need conditional formatting based on field but to be applied on entire ROW. - fbcideas_migusrNew MemberThanks, One more suggestions / ask for the matrix and table visual is to allow them to act as filters, similar to what for example a tree map does. It will be great to see a matrix visual with conditional formatting that can also act as a 2-D filter. E.g. when you select a cell, the category for the row and column in other charts are cross filtered as well.
