I have a .com email through godaddy with a 365 account and still can't sign up. Am I missing something.

Guys stop asking for this. MS does not care if you would like to test, use or recommend it. This suggestion was created in 2014 and if you try to see Will Thompson profile you got an 404 error and you know what that means.

Seriously? No consumer email accounts? Anyway, so I signed up with my own domain name which points to .. da da da da daaaaa ... gmail. Ridiculous idea whoever decided this.

I was able to sign up using a free account from BusinessMailbox.com.

I believe Microsoft should make Power BI available to consumer email accounts. First, most organizations in Africa, even ministries, do not have corporate email accounts. Limiting Power BI to corporate users only will limit the benefits Power BI can give to many organizations (public and non-public) in Africa. Second, I believe providing consumer access to Power BI will increase the number of Power BI users which is useful both to Microsoft and also the users.
