calculated columns in power BI online

I did model the data in Power BI desktop and published to the service. Using the personal gateway I know the data can be refreshed through the data sources in PBIX. But the calculated columns using DAX from PBI desktop, will it be refreshed if the data changes in the source (Excel, SQL) ?? Because in power BI online we don't have calculated columns or DAX I understand.
