additional font formatting (bold, italic, underline, etc)

Hi there, I was hoping that the Power BI team could consider bringing additional font formatting options into Power BI. So wherever there is an option to specify font size, colour and so forth, we should also be able to specify other options such as: * Bold * Italic * Underline * Strikeout Also I was wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea to allow users to highlight a specific part of a text to format it, instead of formatting the font for the entire object in question.

This is definitely a must. I've just started creating dashboards in PBI and I really like the software, first question from a stakeholder was can the titles be in bold please. really surprised this wasn't a feature from the get go.

I will echo what has already been said with I'm surprised how this isn't a thing yet. The idea has been on here for over 3 years with no voice from Microsoft. The overall formatting options in this tool lacking, but not being able to have this additional formatting is crippling as a developer. Stakeholders are constantly asking about formatting in reports and all I do is say is "Microsoft" and they just smile and shake their head. Your name is becoming synonymous with half released products.

Absolutely surprised to see that basic formatting options like bold and italics are missing. It's too embarrassing to tell the customer that we cannot bold or italicise the font because Microsoft hasn't provided the feature yet.

I support this. It would most definitely add value for me as a user, when creating visualizations, to be able to conditionally format the font with bold, italic or underscore.

This would be great! Considering Microsoft has made this available on all their products I've used, it's surprising this is not already a feature.

We need this feature as it's pretty native to all reporting/visualization tools nowadays, I hate to say this but Tableau is so far ahead of Power BI when it comes to customization.
