ability to add trend line to charts

It would be great if we could toggle on and off a trend line for line and bar charts

Not completed as of 7/6/2018. The trend lines option only works if the x axis is numerical....that makes no sense. The intended functionality is for any type of axis type. So, dates should work whether Jan, Feb, Mar, or 1.18, 2.18, 3.18 etc... This needs to be addressed in PBI for it to be useful.

This doesn't seem to be completed. The current version of Power BI only allows a linear trend line which is extremely limiting. Can't this be expanded to other fitted curves? It would also be nice to be able to display trend parameters on the chart.
