When will the KPI Red/Yellow/Green Indicators be available on PowerBI Desktop?

KPI Red/Yellow/Green Indicators were available in Power Pivot. With the new Power BI Desktop this feature is not available anymore. If you import from PP to the Desktop it converts the RYG Indicator Dots to a number. Will the Red/Yellow/Green Indicators be added back to PowerBI Desktop? If so When?

Please add the ability to conditional format based on text data types. We may go back to Tableau simply based on this, seemingly very simple, technological inability.

We use this a lot with SSRS and also even PerformancePoint, and we would like to swap out PerformancePoint with PowerBI.

Conditional formatting not only for numeric fields please, also in other types such as true/false fields are more than necessary in my opinion... thanks everyone!!

Agree to original requirement and as others have commented would like to colour cells based on text entries eg red, amber, green.
