We'd need the following features for the Waterfall chart 1. Ability to have 3 measures in it: starting point, ending point and the gaps in between 2. the ability to sort the gaps from biggest increase to smallest increase, then from bigger decrease to smaller decrease (it should probably be the default setting) 3. the ability to "regroup" some of the Gaps (all the small ones in the event where you would be looking at many of them making the chart too busy) into a dummy gap named "Other" (named could be customized). The number of increases and decreases to consider before regrouping the rest into the "other" category could be manually picked by the User or automatically done by the chart to keep the layout nice and not too busy

- rwiteszczakRegular VisitorThe start point and ending point is pretty essential, currently I'm achieving this by building it in powerBI then editing it in paint....!!!!
- johan4New MemberEspecially item 1 is necessary for a good waterfall chart. So many financial figures have a starting point (bank account statements, financial balances, inventory)
- andy_tegethoffNew MemberBreakdown is good, but still needs STARTING POINT. Pretty critical piece for virtually every waterfall/bridge chart I've ever seen used....
- lenzy_petty1New MemberWaterfall with Breakdown is truly great and delivered everything asked for in the original post. One additional feature that would be great is if we could have the "option" to choose to "sort" waterfall "breakdown" based on the some other measure. Currently only you can only sort Breakdown based on Breakdown size. Would be good to sort Breakdown based on the full value size, not just its breakdown size. I can do this in Tableau. This would be helpful when you have a product with large sales (hence you want to see it), but has a small year over year sales. In that situaion, it could be hard to separate it from the Other Group.
- lenzy_petty1New Memberthis is now available as of the july 2017 desktop update.
